WI Democrats ready to submit signatures to recall 6th Republican senator

It's not yet official, but it appears that number 6 is about to be up for a recall election. Keep them coming. Two to go.

Panel says it has enough signatures to recall Wisconsin state Sen. Rob Cowles | Appleton Post Crescent | postcrescent.com

Add state Sen. Rob Cowles to the growing list of senators a step closer to facing a recall election.

The Committee to Recall Cowles has enough signatures to initiate the next phase of the process and will file them with the Government Accountability Board on Thursday, Graeme Zielinski, a spokesman for the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, said Monday.

Committees already have submitted completed petitions for eight of the 16 eligible senators; Cowles would be the sixth Republican.

A poll just recently came out that showed only 44 percent of Wisconsintes support recall of Walker and 51% are against.

How do you think those recalls of the republican senators are going to go in areas not including Milwaukee and Madison?

    That's right. Not very well.

I'd say they're going pretty well considering 6 Republicans are now up for recall. Oops. So sorry. Try again.

I'm at least clued in enough to realize that just getting the signatures doesn't mean that a recall will happen. I'm also clued in enough to realize that dems won't capture control of the senate and, based on the Prosser election results, the dems have a good chance to win the Kepanke(R) seat and the hooper(R) seat (but that's probably more due to his personal issues) and the dems have a real chance of losing 3.

Like I said. When someone is actually voted out, feel free to gloat. until then, you simply look silly.
