I have not read whole thread so sorry if I am repeating things but I saw a thing tonight where they honored the grandmother that stepped in outside the Mickey D's and her family got to hug her neck. It was touching.

It looks like they may be gonna treat this as a hatecrime and I really hope they do. You cannot try to beat someone to death simply because they are trans and using the bathroom they should be using. People best get used to it.

...and the FBI could do what with that information exactly? I carry a handgun into eating establishments whenever I decide to enter one, sometimes CC, sometimes OC, but it's perfectly legal for me to do so.

Point taken, but not exactly what I meant. It wasn't really about taking a gun (my bad), but making any threatening like statements online. I misspoke.

I believe in being as armed as I can. Voluntarily disarming yourself and trusting that "security measures" make it impossible for the bad guys to be armed is a bad move in my opinion.

There is a HUGE racial component to this.

Notice how the employees - all black - just give kind of a passing "help" to this girl, who is convulsing by the end of this beating. These two black females just keep returning again and again to continue the beating, while the employees just watch.

The camera operator actually warns the attackers that the police are on the way, and that they should hurry up and leave. Incredible.

It takes an older white lady to come in and offer any kind of helpful resistance.

This is a prime example of why I get so disgusted at how the racist tag is so liberally thrown at white people, and how it's almost taboo to discuss in the opposite manner. In my opinion, racism is more deeply rooted and practiced in the black community, both toward whites and Hispanics, than it is in whites.

While not a mainstream news source, there is nothing more "newsy" than actual video, and the recent trend of these attacks in fast-food restaurants, I thought, made it breaking news worthy.

This thread is an epic fail. Its an undercover Stormfront thread that went totally wrong. Your weak attempt to fetch out a situation of black on white racism turned out to be a case where a man entered a female bathroom and when two females told him to leave he refused and the situation escalated from there. You can take your foot out of your mouth now.

Now this thread has turned into a "check out what pistol I carry" thread and I think its the first time we'll ever see conservatives pushing for a "hate crime" charge against a homosexual.
 
I hope McDonald's gets some horrible press for this. It's excruciating to watch. You know there had to be three or more employees in the place. We see one man's half-hearted chicken-**** attempt to stop it...we see a man's taking a video...there is no excuse on the freakin' earth for this to have gone on as long as it did. I heard no one yell, "I called the cops--they're on their way." This is heartbreaking. She's having seizures and still no one bends down to comfort her. Makes me ashamed to be a human being.

Was it racial? Who the hell knows?? The only thing we know for absolute sure is that the two black women were thugs. I sure hope they went to jail.

The two women (one 18-year-old, one 14-year-old) have been arrested. Big question is whether or not they will be prosecuted as a hate crime. The employee who took the video was immediately fired by McDonald's. (Well, thank **** for that.)
 
I'm very surprised no one on this thread bothered to do any research on this and immediately assumed the two black girls were attacking the other person due to race.

That white "girl" was actually a man who was in the female restroom and was told to leave and wouldn't comply and the situation arose from there. Race had nothing to do with it. I'm glad this video undercovered the secret racist on this thread and exposed how you people automatically view a situation. It reminds of the Jim Crow south where sometimes a white woman and black man would be found together and it was automatically "assumed" the black man had attacked the white woman and raped her. Good job DB. Way to jump the gun and start racial conflicts completely out of thin air.

The individual who was assaulted is NOT a man. This has been discussed ad-nauseum. Do try to keep up. She is a transgendered individual who has as much right to the ladies' restroom as any other woman. Furthermore, you appear to be the one jumping the gun by throwing out your opinions on motive. From the article, it appears the police have not determined a motive yet, but regardless, there is no justification for what was done to her and the actions of those who actually attacked her AND the inaction of the majority of the bystanders are despicable.
