Its only wealth redistribution in the mind of a fascist. To most Americans it is fulfilling the intent of the Constittution to promote the welfare of we the people.

I don't know how great a nation can be when the top 1% control 35% of the wealth, and the top 20% control 85% of the wealth. It doesn't lead to a healthy country to have things that out of proportion.

You can put it that way if you want to be dishonest. It's more about setting up fair regulations and politices that keep the dream of mobility a reality and not as large a myth as it is today. We need the middle the class. It is a sign of a strong nation.
 
While I have enjoyed some of Trump's comments about returning/restoring respect to America, reigning in the Chinese and getting a return on protection services for the Saudi's he is not the one I look to lead this country out of the quagmire we are in.

After all, he is a democrat at heart.... just ask Chucky.

Exactly like the SS and M/M that our forefathers supported for the last 8o years that made the US middle class the strongest in our history.

I don't subscribe to the notion that our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents were socialists, even though they charged the rich a 90% income tax. Today our rich pay a less percentage of their income than do their secretaries.

Donald Trump gives boatloads of money to several charitable organizations. For free.

Correction, it is exactly what the foundation is of the Constitution, as has been determined by the rule of law in this great country for the last 80 years under both parties.

Try reading the intent of the Constitution someday, It is entitled The Preamble to the Constituion.

SS was so strong, it helped fund the wars you are so fond of. The Republicans decided to do that so we could give rich people 30 years of huge cuts in taxes rather than paying for the wars through taxes as they used to do.

Time for the rich people to pay back to SS what they robbed from it. The fact that we have refused to upgrade our health care system to first world status is why Medicare is in trouble. We have the highest cost health care system in the world. That won't be fixed in any other way than a single payer system.

Or, you can continue to think of our fathers, grandfathers and great grandfathers as socialists for requiring that the rich pay their fair share if you think that helps make your case.

You obviously have no idea where to find information regarding the Constitutions intent. If you think the preamble is the extent of it, we couldn't even begin to have a real conversation on the matter.
