I mean, I'm sure there is a way to be whiny and rude while doing so. But in general, this seems more a lot to do about nothing. If he wasn't being allowed to finish his answers he should say that he should be allowed to finish. I don't know how much information can actually be taken from politicians these days. A lot of words come out of their pie holes, but very little information. But we have gotten to a very annoying state in politics where everything has to be canned sound bites, little stump speeches. But honestly, if we are to control the government we need to know what the government is up to. And that requires tough questions and complete answers for us to gauge where the government is at and what it's doing. I think that for quite some time now the Press has failed in its duty to the People.
You know the time is right to take control, we gotta take offense against the status quo

I agree. I think you have to know how Obama thinks and what is motivating him to make his decisions, before you can actually judge him and form an opinion on his judgement. I'd like to hear him explain everything, then his way of thinking and presidency can really be challenged.

Agreed. I foresee a custom karma title going his way soon...

I think Obama ran up against a reporter that matched or exceeded his skills, and he kinda panicked.

Nothing is wrong with it. Any reasonable person would have responded the same way or in a similar manner...

I wish half way into your thought I could have slammed your laptop shut or turned off your computer and then when you complained, I would reply by saying, "You ran up against someone who matched or exceeded your skills and you are panicking!"

    That would be so awesome.

Really? Let's go back to the original post I called you on shall we?

    You said:

You might not like how he defends his decisions or his reasoning, but because this is a free country, you're not going to be killed or punished for disagreeing with the leader. But to think this president is a liar, a secret Muslim, socialist, and Kenyan who secretly wants to destroy America is just stupid and insane, and the epitome of ignorant.
so now after 5 pages, and some back and forth, I will ask, Whom are you talking about here that has said that Obama is a "Secret Muslim", "Socialist", "Kenyan", or want's to "secretly destroy America"?

Were you saying that Soccerboy was saying this, because that is whom you were addressing? Or were you making a larger point that "You" being in the general terminology is trumpeting that, and I ask if the latter, whom is in the generalization that you so wrongly characterize?

But then you went further to say:

Some idiots really think the president is all bad and no good...
Who are the "idiots" SW? I can assume like you, but I prefer to see you have the integrity to come on out and say it.

There is nothing wrong with making an assumption, and I feel it was an informed assumption.
Oh, an informed assumption...Well then what are you basing your informed assumption on? And as to assumptions they are a bad road to go down, because generally assumptions are made on perceptions, and thus are skewed by our notions of what we believe, and don't really know about the person we are assuming of.

Yep, I assume the guy is biased... most journalists are. Most people know that and make those assumptions. And I'll go even further and assume his lean is conservative.... which is probably a common assumption on this thread.
Facts be damned. Ok that tells me volumes about your thought processes.

I really think you're overreacting... and making a big fuss over nothing. I am not coming out of left field with my assumptions, nor are they ignorant or offensive.
Says who? You? Or are you assuming again? they are by the very definition ignorant, and offensive.

I didn't make an assumption about all Conservatives of even all Conservatives posting on this thread... I said birtherism is stupid, and I don't think the president is entirely bad. That doesn't make me a liberal btw..
Hard to tell who you were talking about....It was generalized to the point allowing you to now weasel out of what you really meant. And no you didn't just say "birtherism is stupid" I posted you exact quote. Now you are just being dishonest about it.

It may not make you a liberal, but it doesn't make you independent either.

Probably in my assumption a liberal that is ashamed to admit it....See how off assumptions can be?

I still fail to see why you have a problem with that...
I had a problem with it because I am so damn tired of this Allensky style smear debate that libs often employ today, then just as you did, refuse to stand behind their own words. It is highly dishonest. But if that is how you want to proceed then God Speed girl. I am done with it.
