    Oh, wait, I get it.

You're willfully sacrificing whatever credibility you have left on the altar of Teh Lulz.

    Right on.
I'm already gearing up for Finger Vote 2014.

Just for reference, means my post was a giant steaming pile of sarcasm.

There is also the option of firefighters coming in from other states, which I believe they typically do. So no doubt that will happen sooner than the Fed can act.
Agreed, that option is coming soon I do hope thought we get this fire under control.

One's home is a major investment and probably the biggest for some of us. So, when a bro is in danger of losing everything...political ideologies take a back seat.

He's a hack, but I have never seen him defend those banksters who take welfare money out of the taxpayers' pockets.

"You're such a partisan hack for what you just said, so childish!"

Texas would welcome money from the Feds, from other states, or even from Mexico right now. Here is a view of Texas, as seen from the McDonald Observatory:

As you can see, we can use any help we can get right now. As for you, you might say a prayer that more people don't lose their homes, or get hurt here, rather than trying to make something political out of it. Sorry to tell you this, but your thread is disgusting.

Rick Perry is a hypocrite period. He runs on hating the feds, but when his state is in trouble, weather it is bush fires or a self inflected budget hole, then he has no problem asking for federal money.
So you're saying people should lose everything because of one blokes opinion?
As for the bush fires.. to quote a few right wingers on these boards during the floods in the UK and other places... dont live there if it can burn.

This is also not true about Conservatives they believe in limited government. They don't hate the government like Libertarians or perhaps Anarchist do actually learn something about Ideologues.
