So why is the solution to cut taxes for the wealthy and cut benefits for the poor?

Why not dump the tax cuts in favor of smaller benefits cuts?

Or are you one of those guys who thinks lowering taxes always increases revenue?

this is very disappointing to hear. This statement just implies that people who receives government aid should always strive to keep it no matter how selfish or righteous it is. You are encouraging the fight for dependence on the government.

Where did I say cut taxes for wealthy? I just said entitlements need to be dealt with. If not they will go bankrupt.

Its not "other people's money"...sorry....I don't buy into that. Reagan handed the wealthy the biggest tax cut in the history of this country while raising taxes on the poor and middle classes. Was Reagan giving the wealthy the poor's money?

Why is it that you Republicans love to hand out corporate welfare but cringe at the idea of providing food stamps and medicare?

Open your eyes Vich...it is you guys that want to make the poor and middle classes slaves to the wealthy. The GOP would love to eliminate the middle class and they are doing everything they can to make that happen.

Not at all....I'm am encouraging people to fight the GOP's war on the working,middle classes. I don't want people dependent on the government....I just don't want people at the whims of the corporate elite.

Why are you saying people will be at the whims of the corporate elite? Where does this fear come from? we have anti discrimination laws, laws against monopolies, and the freedom to choose what company we want to participate in. This right to choice keeps companies in line, regardless of all the government regulation on upkeep and quality that exists.

Somehow the Reps made the case that the poor don't want to work, and welfare and entitlements are the reason why we're in a recession. Can't blame the 60 percent who are buying it, because frightened people will believe anything.

However, I do blame the Republican leaders who capitalize on this fear, and coerce their lemming like associates, pundits, commentators, and media, those who blindly aid and abet the crime.
