    No, you're making it be a redistributive program. It is an insurance program. Why should I be FORCED to pay more for insurance when I need it less and won't get any additional benefit from it?

    sure, workers pay in some half million dollars in PRINCIPAL over 50 years, get a paltry 1200 a month in return if they're lucky enough to make it to the retirement age, whatever that's gonna be

    and if they don't quite make it, the govt keeps the brunt
