Judge dismisses one of three lawsuits on Wisconsin law

Judge dismisses one of three lawsuits on Wisconsin law
The Wisconsin judge who blocked the implementation of the state law limiting collective bargaining by public workers threw out one of the three lawsuits on Thursday challenging the controversial measure.

The suit, which claimed the law's passage violated the state's constitution, was filed by Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk and County Board Chair Scott McDonell.

Dane County Circuit Court Judge Maryann Sumi said the county officials lacked standing to assert constitutional claims. She said they could refile their suit as private citizens.
    One down, two to go.

I'd like to see that clause. Or the briefing from the lawyers on how they're spinning the clause to apply to the "rights" of union workers...

    Ahh, the reason matters.

Hm, I think this graphic expresses how I feel about this whole mess.

I give it to the Republicans for taking the attention completely away from Wall Street and the lobbyists.

So, how much money have teachers, planned parenthood and NPR generated and injected into the economy? None? That's what I thought.

So, based on that fact, what is the contribution they're making to our society, exactly?
