In a split decision, a three-judge panel found that U.S. District Judge Susan R. Bolton “did not abuse” her discretion in blocking parts of the law that, among other things, require police to check immigration status if they stop someone while enforcing other laws.

The court ruled only on Bolton’s order, not on whether the Arizona measure is legal, and the Justice Department’s move to have the law thrown out will proceed. But the judges gave strong indications that they accept the administration’s argument that the legislation is unconstitutional and that they would rule that way in the end.

Federal Government to illegal "immigrants": "COME ON IN AND REPLACE THESE UPPITY, OVERPAID GRINGOS!! WE LIKE YOUR STYLE, YOUR SUBMISSIVENESS, YOUR PRICE!!"

Give me your hungry give me your poor....

dust in the wind.

I understand that its bigger than just the southern border.

The federal government won't protect the border and they are preventing the states from doing it themselves.

Therefore they want a porous southern border. Why? Just for kicks?

It would be inexcusably egocentric to suggest that we control our own government.

Democrats want an open border for votes, republicans want an open border for lackey labor...and they just keep pouring in day in and day out...costing us billions.

The poem you refer to didn't say anything about free welfare, free medical and free education.

I agree that we should reform welfare, because it is being abused, but my vote will never be to condemn children to starvation.

Those are a given in most civilized states that have the means to provide them.

Please let me know when a bill condemning children to starve is introduced and we can both oppose it.

Really?

So which country can my family of 12 go to get free money, free medical and a free education?

Wherever do governments get the money to provide all this free stuff? It's like magic!
