Really shows your weakness I'm debate when you feel the need to label your competition instead of addressing what he said.

I was merely pointing out the inconsistencies I was seeing.

'09 was Bush's budget and that didn't include his trillion dollar bank bailout. We have spent over a trillion dollars for the wars...........for nothing. Bush was just as bad if not worse than Obama.

What you have to remember is that these are the sort of people who actually believed one of Obama's trips cost $200 million/day. DOD guy calls it "comical," but they clung to it like it was the new birther theory.

HusSame is trying to pull the biggest 180 in history, in an effort to woo the very voters who still believe it was BJ Clinton who balanced the budget and reformed Welfare. Coming on the heels of last Friday night, when the Tea Party dragged Obama and Democrats to The Largest Spending Cut in US History kicking and screaming......only to have The Most Expensive President in US History take credit a few hours later.

This will be interesting........if Obama supports cutting Medicaid and Medicare today.......the Democrat faithful will support it tomorrow......just as they did with Barack Petroleum's Lybian War for Oil.

4/11/2011......Democrats support killing Seniors and depriving "da Childen"....

Can anything he says this week about a budget be construed as anything but a political stunt. He has already given us his budget proposal about a month ago. Does anyone find it interesting that it was announced not by an economic advisor but his personal fluffer. I thought that was only for porn stars!

America gets the govenrment we deserve. First we hire an ex-alcoholic from texas whose daddy was president. Clearly unqualified, except for a bourban tasting contest. So what do we do next hire someone who also has experience in nothing of value. Good speaker yes. Deep thinker, no.

My sense is that it isn't politicians who are not serious about fixing the problems we have in america, rather it is the voters who refuse to understand the basics of things such as the economy, so the are left with memorizing political talking points.

Nice rebuttal. The numbers are all there that Obama spends more than Bush.

If you believe presidents control the economy, you have to lay blame at Bush's feet.

AUSTAN GOOLSBEE: I think the world vests too much power, certainly in the president, probably in Washington in general for its influence on the economy, because most all of the economy has nothing to do with the government.
