What measurements are you using in the superior stakes? How do you believe any Muslim run country is superior?

If you traveled at all you would have seen that many countries have their own traditions, laws and cultures. France is no different in this regard than Argentina, Japan or Saudi Arabia. When you move to anther country you are often expected to follow these laws and traditions, as difficult a concept as that might seem to be for someone who have never left their home town.

You donlt seem to have much of a debate happening for you here, PeteEU.

Instead, why not argue for the building of a Synagogue in Saudi Arabia?

Depends on your definition of superior, some muslim countries are fu ked up by historicalal reasons, other muslim countries...

    Well...

I'll let you be the judge.

    Or not...

Since you're incredibly western centric and seem to want to be american more then Canadian...

So why don't you go do that?

As you were the one who brought up the subject of superiority why not expand on that idea and comment further?

Don't know what you're driving at here or what it has to do with the topic under discussion.

Nothing like asking permission to exercise a right, eh?

Legally in our courts, Sharia law should never come up as it's religious law and we wish to keep secular government.

For certain things, yes. And it gets more ridiculous every year. The fact that there must be permission for certain rights is terrible. Association, speech, and redress are extremely important rights which must be upheld to the maximum for any free society. I don't want America to get as bad as Europe is, I want to do an about face and restore in full the rights and liberties of the individual.

No, you don't need any of those laws. It in general does not come up in any form of criminal court where the government is prosecuting an individual.
