Yeah, i'm catching on. I'm not understanding the logic at all, but I'm catching on.

My question wasn't directed at your insult, so your answer is irrelevant.

Btw, have you ever used an OC spray or been exposed to one? I'm just trying to determine why you think this use of an orgainc, non-lethal defensive measure was so earthshattering when deployed against a smaller-than-adult target.
yes, I have. I've been tazed and shot, too. But, not when I was 8 y/o.

If they chose to go physicaly I wouldn't be amazingly bothered by that either, but I think they would've opened themselves up to far more issues had they done that.
I feel bad for the cops for just this reason. The only choice that wouldn't have likely caused them issues with the mother would have been to allow the kid to keep throwing a fit and possibly do more damage to the classroom, which would have likely caused issues between them and the school for allowing destruction of property. Any physcial action taken against the boy could have very likely caused some injury to the child, even if it would have been a small bruise or cut, which could have still been viewed by many, including the boy's mother, to be "too much". She stated that she just wanted them to "talk her boy down" like they did in earlier incidents, but she obviously doesn't get that her son is being a major disruption and authority figures shouldn't be expected to allow him to behave this way until he decides to calm down just because he is a child, especially if that means more damage to school property could occur.

Yeah, i'm catching on. I'm not understanding the logic at all, but I'm catching on.
As I said repeatedly, I would rather that than the use of pepper spray. I've physically disciplined my kids, but never felt a need to spray them with pepper spray.

Mace Spray, OC Spray, Pepper Spray, Police Supply

The North Carolina study found that the number of injuries to police officers
and suspects declined after pepper spray was introduced. Complaints that the
police used excessive force also declined.
The study of in-custody deaths concluded that pepper spray contributed to
death in two of the 63 cases, both involving people with asthma. In the other
cases, the researcher concluded that death was caused by the arrestee's drug
use, disease, positional asphyxia, or a combination of these factors.

Adolescents react differently to OC spray than adults? What are you trying to imply?
