No he didn't. The economy was doing well under Bush for many years.

He was ineffective in stopping the meltdown and for that he deserves his share of criticism.

The house dems deserve quite a bit of blame themselves. Interesting that you left them out.

0bama told people what he thought they wanted to hear. For many that was enough.

The alternative to a community organizer from Chicago was McCain.

why would you find it inappropriate for the head of a federal agency to want to be knowlesgable about sensitive FOIA requests and responses?

If health care had been on CSPAN, would you have watched? Does CSPAN programming even fall under the auspices of the White House? For one thing, I have doubts about the President's ability to dictate CSPAN's programming. Secondly, that probably would have been the most boring programming in the history of CSPAN (which doesn't exactly have a reputation for being riveting or exciting).

It comes down to character -- he is a politician. Same as every other politician who's ever broken a promise (it's not like he invented that).

"The House and Senate plan to put together the final health care reform bill behind closed doors according to an agreement by top Democrats," House Speaker Nanci Pelosi said today at the White House. The White House is on board with that, too, reports CBS News political correspondent Chip Reid.

Bringing the former president into the discussion on your first post was good.

Then bashing the folks that use the former President in their replies is priceless.

    Keep up the fine work.

    Indisputable evidence of what?

There were all kinds of people running for President in 2008.

    Women, minorities, Mormons, Catholics etc.

Is that a race card in your sleeve?

OK. No women or minorities were in the 2008 Presidential race.

It must have been the picture on my TV. I'll get it fixed.

"cognitive dissonance" .... otherwise know as common sense.

Could you find a more biased source? Until then I think all liberals should treat this thread the same way conservatives treat media matters threads.
