It seems a lot of the more recent posts have wander far afield from the OP
    I may be wrong.

U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben S. Bernanke’s two-year fight to shield crisis-squeezed banks from the stigma of revealing their public loans protected a lender to local governments in Belgium, a Japanese fishing-cooperative financier and a company part-owned by the Central Bank of Libya.

    transparency, anyone?

    Jesus.

It's like conservatives are under the impression that during the Bush Years ever single news channel on planet earth (minus Fox News) was bashing Bush 24/7 when really, things were just in reverse as they were today.

MSNBC generally was against Bush, for Obama
CNN generally has been neutral (people who want to dispute this. Quite frankly I couldn't care about your opinion, just because CNN doesn't accuse Obama of being a Kenyan socialist)
Fox News was for Bush and against Obama.

    Oh well.

I swear, Americans when their guy isn't in power, can turn into the biggest ****ing whiners on planet Earth, never in my entire life has I heard THIS MUCH bitching and whining and moaning and complaining. Holy mother of god.

Yes Obama said his administration would be transparent, but in the end he's a politician, to try and slam him on breaking his promises is as redundant as saying Hitler was a bad guy (Yeaaaaaah godwinning for kicks).

In the end. The world will continue to spin and politicians will continue to be politicians.

Politicians are like diapers, their contents are the same, and they should be replaced very, very often.

please explain for us how a matter investigated by the inspector general, where no illegal activities were found, is then temed "corrupt"

We're talking about your boy's open government policy, why don't you read the OP. How about subverting FOIA requests and running them through a political team? Nothing corrupt there, no sirree. Now how about your classless post about whiners? Who's whining now about getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar?

actually, i was referring to your post, where you term actions to have been "corrupt" despite the IG investigation finding that no illegality was evident:

i will now accept that you haven't any understanding of the word "corrupt", since you use it inappropriately

How about subverting FOIA requests ...
and now you prove to us that you similarly have no understanding of the word, "subvert"
and running them through a political team?
the head of homeland security wants to monitor the nature of inquiries seeking to find out her movements. no way could al qaeda seek to use such insider information to harm a senior administration official in another strike
    Nothing corrupt there, no sirree.
finally, you got something right. the IG report concludes no illegal activities were found. if there is corruption then the IG would have also identified illegal activities
Now how about your classless post about whiners? Who's whining now about getting caught with their hand in the cookie jar?
    you, mostly

Here's 50 bucks that says the Republican candidate in 2012 talks about change, and promises government transparency -- and breaks those promises.

Allow some consistency from me... I was all over Bush for his gestapo like government. There are far too many things about Obama that make me want to call him Bush III.

Anyone that thinks Obama is a liberal, has no idea what an American liberal really is.... Yes, he is left of center, but he ain't no liberal. Than again, when you are on the extreme end of the wing you lose all depth perception when looking back across that wing. (Translation for our birther friends: every one to the left of you is a liberal)
