Because the circumstantial evidence ignores a boat load of logic, commens sense, and reason. Because it is borderline crazy.

We're to believe that this man made it through nearly a decade of time serving in Chicago without an enemy digging anything up. Then got picked to be spotlighted at a DNC without the Dem's digging anything questionable up about him before placing him in such a potiion. Then got into a heated congressional race that somehow no one vetting him or going against him managed to dig anything up during. Then was serving in the Senate for two years without anyone digging anything up about it. Then went through the Democratic Primary without any of his competitors, some notoriously cut throat, digging this up. Then was vetted by the DNC to make sure it'd be worth while to make him their candidate and found nothing. Then was undoubtably looked into by Republicans throughout this time without finding anything worth while to bring up. Then a bunch of idiots and conspiracy kooks find the loosest and unverifiable of information possible to try and claim something neferious is happening, which have all sumarily been dubbed worthless by the courts. And in the end, despite documents being provided, bipartisan confirmations of his citizenship, and a handful of other things people still ask retarded "questions" based on "questions" they have because they refuse to actually look at reality objectively.

This is about as asinine to believe happened, and about as ridiculously idiotic to actually buy into, as those that think the government concocted 9/11.

Yes, the entire weights of the biggest political parties in this country couldn't dig this crap up...but some ****ing idiotic with a bone to pick magically legitimately got personal private information on Obama and OBVIOUSLY that must be the more reliable, reasonable, and logical source to believe as the legitimate one.

Because, despite how BADLY the left wants to make this a race issue (showing that even those on the left can be idiotic in exploiting those on the rights idiocy) this has far more to do with other circumstantial evidence then it does to do with the color of his skin.

1) SS card numbers are given where the applications for them are processed.

2) If you live in Indonesia as a child, and your father applies for a SS card for you, then the number is given by whatever state processes it, in this case, Connecticut.

Close... according to the SS website, the number is issued based on the mailing address provided on the application (the zip code in particular).

But hey, learn something every day - I always assumed it corresponded with the state in which you were born.

When I got my SS in 1970, I was issued my number and card right there. My friend was with me and our numbers are just one different.

I could mail a SS application from Maine, with a Maine postmark on the envelope, to CT. If all my paperwork inside says I live in CT, that is where the SS number would be issued, and that's how the number would be derived... not from where I mailed the application.
