Re: Union threatens boycott of any business that doesn't show support

    Unions are calling for revolution.

Chilling Video: Openly Rooting for Revolution, The Left Calls For American Civil Unrest & Riots (Frances Fox Piven, Lib Talkers, Journalists, Van Jones, Rev Wright, English Protest Leader, etc) | The Blaze

It doesn’t have to be this way. This can be our moment. The fragility of an unstable boom-and-bust economy and growing economic inequality create unique opportunities to stoke simmering discontent into concrete, concerted direct action to challenge corporate extremism. From Wisconsin, where hundreds of thousands of workers, students, clergy and others have rallied, to cities around the country where average Americans are occupying Wall Street banks to protest revenue shortfalls, the poisonous deals banks have with cities and states, and foreclosures, a movement is being born that challenges corporate dominance and is inspired by a vision of a better and more just world.

But in order to make this vision reality, we need to go on offense and make Wall Street pay for the trillions it stole from us. Wall Street is bankrupting cities, states, homeowners, and students with trillions in unfair debt, even after the big banks received $17 trillion in bailouts and backstops after crashing the economy. We can use our political and economic power to renegotiate our relationship with Wall Street to keep millions of people in their homes, and raise revenue for cities and states to protect jobs and critical services:

I'm shocked at how far these people are going. They are trying to recall the gov, throwing temper tantrums, and now wanting to boycott businesses that don't show support. The entitlement mindset is extremely damaging and this is a prime example. This reminds me of taking toys away from a spoiled child and watching them react in an illogical and rage filled way. They need to see the reality of their state's budget and mature a bit (well, a lot) and realize that they are earning unmerited money and essentially stealing from taxpayers through their overpowered union.

You know these shop owners probably make less, and have lesser healthcare than the union thugs who get thiers off the backs of these shop owners.

I agree it's shocking. These people are deadly serious. They've had a free hand for many years and they've built quite a cozy niche for themselves. They thought they owned the Democrat party and they're shocked they've been outbid by big money interests. Of course they're throwing tantrums. I think it's good that the insideous nature of their control over state budgets has come to light and I think it will make it possible for their position to be weakened. But they won't back down easily obviously. Looks like May will be a red hot month.

Grab your ankles lads!! You have forgot about all the people & businesses you boycotted. ie. Fonda, French, etc.
I wouldn't argue with the fact that they can boycott these businesses and that it can be an effective tool; At least in the short term. But these public union employees are biting the hand that feeds them. It is just dumb boorish behavior. Do you really think they can bully all the businesses in the state that won't support them? Do you not see the harm it is doing to their cause? Be capitalistic but don't be stupid.

If there is anything that has been proven about modern day unions is that they are very short sighted. The mindset for many of them is to negotiate for the most you can get now. It is a mob mentality. The future be damned. Union leaders convince everyone that the employers are always holding out on them. But wait, this is a public union basically working for a non-profit entity. So we know how much money the employer has because it came out of our pockets. We see states with huge deficits everywhere. Then we look at the public employees and see their vacation plans, holidays, high salaries, pensions, expensive healthcare plans and say WTF! Its one thing to work for a company who makes a widget and gets people to want to buy their widget and use the profits to benefit them but it is an entirely different matter to have to tax people for your prosperity. The union is negotiating with the people of Wisconsin now. How do you think they look with this latest maneuver? Who do you think people are going vote for next time around? The cowardly Senators who abandoned their duties and left the state or the ones trying to break up the union?

So, when conservatives boycotted Disney, where they "dirtbags"? When conservative groups refused to buy GM cars, where they "scum"? When some conservative organizations boycotted CPAC, where they "jackals"?
