Poll: Obama's approval hits new low

Polls, schmolls.

Unfortunately, I have no faith in the American electorate. They'd vote for a mule if it had a nice smile and promised change.

It's not the entire American electorate that is the problem. It has been most all Liberals and some others who listened to all the bashing of President Bush and the lies from and about Obama.

The truth about Obama is just now getting to some people.

We have all heard the BS about how brilliant Obama is and yet now it's clear he's inept at everything he's done, and to top it off we learned that he can't even talk in public without a a speech writer and TelePrompter or he just stutters and stumbles with um ah and so on constantly.

As I have said I think this is why he hides all his school records. I think he just got by by with Ds and a few F-s making him and F-er in my book.

With lunk he'll continue to sink.

I would love to see Obama debate Donald Trump on economic issues. Trump might be not a good politician but in Business he rather kicks ass.

No, that does little but ensure that the incumbent is re-elected. You won't see a viable third party or independent candidate until they prove their metal at the local levels.

j-mac

If Bloomberg wanted to run as an Independent, he'd have a legitimate shot. His lack of a brand party would be counterbalanced by the insane amount he could outspend either of the two candidates.

We shall see....I think the American voter has seen what a phoney Obama is and are tired of hearing him put this country down and apologize for it.........

Ah, the mentality of "Admitting fallibility means you hate america."

After watching nearly a dozen polls that indicated that gay marriage would win in a state turn out to be bull, I don't take any of them seriously. What people do at the booth can be very different than what they tell a pollster.

This can be either out of ignorance (the classic example of most people agreeing with everything the health care law does when described individually, but still stating they disagree with the healthcare law when asked if they agreed with it or not) or inaccurate polling techniques (many claim a majority of Americans disagree with the healthcare law, what they fail to mention is that a good number of those feel the law doesn't go far enough).

Also, blame voter apathy.

I would love to have a nickel for every time we saved the bacon of countries in Europe my left wing friend..........We should apologize to no one..........

Poll: Obama's approval hits new low - Jennifer Epstein - POLITICO.com

President Barack Obama’s approval rating and prospects for reelection have plunged to all-time lows in a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday.

Half of the registered voters surveyed for the poll think that the president does not deserve a second term in office, while 41 percent say he does. In another Quinnipiac poll released just four weeks ago, 45 percent said the president did not deserve reelection, while 47 percent said he did.

The decline in support for a second Obama term comes as his approval rating has dropped 4 percentage points since early March, landing at 42 percent – a record low – in the poll released Wednesday. His disapproval rating has risen from 46 percent to 48 percent.

I'l be quite honest I cant believe that 4 of 10 people actually think this guy is doing a great job. I would be wondering how this poll was taken which questions were asked, how they were asked and which neighborhoods got the sampling but lets take a look at some of the facts.

- Has spent more money and accomplished less than any president or world leader for that matter in history, putting the country Trillions in debt causing alot of the inflation your starting to see in food and fuel prices along with everything else.

-Unemployment 9-10% for most of his term so far, near 18% counting the folks who have stopped recieving benefits and the underemployed.

-Incoherant and inconsistant foreign policy, getting us in a third war (like we really needed this), throwing away our sovereignty by allowing 3rd world countries to influence our policies at places like the UN & others. Galavanting around the world like he's on tour kissing the ass of thugish dictators like China's Hu or King Abdullah by bowing or signing away our nuclear arsenal for no good reason to the Russian dictator. Not to mention his treatment of our best allies Great Britain where he sold out ther nuclear secrets to the Russians along with insulting them by sending back the statue of Churchill along with his mindnumbingly stupid gift of an ipod to the queen. Then theres the Israelis who he's treated poorly as well.

Cutting the Military while adding to there workload.

-Misguided & ignorant energy policy, promising all kinds of so called "Green Jobs" (whatever the hell that is) Green energy? huh ...... shutting down coal mines, not issuing new permits for companies to drill for oil but not having a problem giving Brazil loans for there drilling. The USA has very large amounts of Coal, gas & oil reserves but instead of going & getting our own we pay thru the nose to the middle east despots who in turn use it to plot against us. Think of the jobs and the effect on the economy if the USA ramped up its energy production, the price would go down and our need for involvment in the ME would reduce mightily. But nooooo! this President and his government cant see the forest for the trees.

Does anyone actually feel like there life has gotten better under Barak Obama and the Liberals idea of Utopia? consistantly high unemployment, 3 wars, massive debt that is as far as the eye can see, rampant coruption, crony capitalism, darn near 4$ gas, out of control illegal immigration, housing market in the gutter, expensive health plan shoved down out throat, loss of freedoms and out of control big government telling you how to live your life more than ever... need I go on?

I dont see how anyone who's intelectually honest, partisan or not, can honestly say this guy has done a good job because IMO (supported by many facts) his presidency has so far been a disaster, possibly making him the worst president in US history. Sadly we have almost 2 more years to see what this wreaking ball will do so this could get even worse.
