From CNBC:

In the Sovereign Fiscal Responsibility Index, the Comeback America Initiative ranked 34 countries according to their ability to meet their financial challenges, and the US finished 28th, said David Walker, head of the organization and former US comptroller general...

"Here's the good news: Some of the top countries had their own fiscal challenges, made reforms and now rank highly," Walker said. "If we adopt the recommendations of the National Fiscal Responsibility and Reform Commission or ones that have similar bottom-line impact, we move from 28 to 8."

News Headlines

In short, the U.S. faces significant long-term fiscal challenges. However, early action on credible fiscal consolidation would be beneficial. IMO, the FY 2012 budget package should be shelved. It is a status quo document that addresses none of the structural drivers (mandatory spending programs) of the nation's long-term fiscal challenges. If political leaders cannot find it within themselves to design a credible fiscal consolidation package, they should adopt the recommendations of the Fiscal Responsibility and Reform Commission.

Most politician are status quo, but none more than the Democrats. Go talk to them, they like it the way it is just fine.

If we are honest we have to add to this we are near the very bottom in public education thanks to Unions and Leadership which I blame on gullible Liberals who bought into Obama's lies and also fell for the bovine scatology about the mentally challenged dumb-ass somehow being brilliant.

The idiot can't even talk without a teleprompter,

We need.... MUST do two things. Either get rid of most all the ILLEGAL mexicans or keep them here are charge them thousands for legal status. The 2nd is end these State Unions. Or at the very least end their pensions and have them pay 40% of their healthcare. All people elected into office should also take a 20% pay cut.
Alas America doesnt have the balls our past leaders had. Something MUST give or were looking at financial destruction.
Whats the probable outcome? Benefits to the American needy being cut and higher taxes.
