Former Minnesota governor Tim Pawlenty will announce the formation of a presidential exploratory committee this afternoon, according to two aides briefed on the decision.

The announcement will be aired live on Facebook at 3 pm, making Pawlenty the first ever candidate to begin the formal process of running for president via the ubiquitous social network. He is expected to officially enter the race later this spring.

Well, here are the first signs of someone officially entering....It ain't much, but it is a start.

Anyone would be better than what we have now.

What?

j-mac

You posted that anybody was better than who we have now. I was curious to see if you really meant that.

When Chris Christie and Bobby Jindal get in the race...call me.

BTW...anyone see that Palin is meeting with leaders in Israel? She must be pretty serious about running if she's traveling all over the globe to meet with people so she can counter the "no international experience" argument.

You're just being silly, unless you are saying that Pawlenty is akin to a serial killer....

So saying Pawlenty being akin to being a serial killer isn't silly?

Yeah, I worded that wrong....I'll be clear.....Are you saying that Pawlenty is akin to a serial killer running?

He's not saying that at all. You said "Anyone would be better". Anyone includes serial killers, so he wondered if you really meant "anyone".

she ought to be keeping her disgustingly stupid mouth shut right about now...she's NOT in any way an American representative.

Oh ok, so he was making a childish attempt at mocking, then derailing the thread because he doesn't like to talk about conservative ideas....Got it.

Or... she's probably trying to find out if she can see Ankorage from Jerusalem. Either way, the radical protestant right is knee deep in the asshole of Israel's most ardent supporters. It's not a secret to anybody in the political world.

Yeah, kind of like when Sean Penn goes down for a quick photo op with Chavez eh? Did you say the same about him?

Cute, but not very insightful or intelligent. What are your feelings about Pawlenty....?

... why would we say that Sean Penn? It's assumed that Sean Penn, who isn't a politician or a leading political figure in the US is not a representative of the US. Sarah Palin is just stupid enough to still think she represents anything other than a TV show.

Moderator's Warning:
Alright, enough nitpicking on hyperbole and talking about Palin in Israel. Lets try not to let this thread get derailed before it even reaches 20 posts.

And Palin is really just a celebrity with a facebook account at this point....Potato, potato. But she sure does get under you libs skin...I love it....However, this is about Pawlenty....Do you have anything to share on that?

Talk about zero tolerance for opposing views. Even the mere mention of her name and the vitriol drips from the libs fangs like the venom of a snake.

Liblady: Why don't you debate the topics rather than resort to vicious name calling? You could have easily handled the subject by saying something like

Palin doesn't have the experience and her policies are counter to America's needs.

I would have disagreed with you, but at least at that point we are having a civil debate. Like I said in another thread, libs seek to suppress thought while conservatives seek to bestow freedom. This is one more example of how I am right.

Civility is only a diversionary tool that the liberals picked up like the bully in the school yard you are pummeling, and he cries no mas, then the moment you let him up he hits you......It's a lie.

On Pawlenty though....

I did find this....

For me, he might not be my #1 choice, but I won't have to hold my nose to vote for him either. He and I agree on quite a few issues.

i think he's one of the many mediocre candidates the republicans have right now.
