Judge issues temporary order barring public union law's implementation

Keep in mind, they don't report those facts on the fair and balanced station.

So who's protesting except AWOL dem senators?

People who took a job, agreed to a contract, and worked that job. Fire them to pay off the debt caused by giving away tax breaks to big businesses.

They could raise property taxes slightly. Or raise the cheese tax.

I agree with you regarding those corporate welfare tax breaks. Dont provide them. period! But Im also with firing state union members too. BOTH sides must pay!

I asked you this in the other thread, but you ignored the question... let's try again, shall we???

Are elected officials ONLY allowed/supposed to address issues they campaigned on, and nothing else? Multiple posters have whined like little girls about how 'Walker never even campaigned on that issue', like it matters.
Don't get your panties in a bunch, the Governor can address any old thing he/she wants to. However, the reason a candidate wouldn't mention certain things, is because they may not get elected in the first place. This is not rocket science, Whoian, In fact, there are polls which show that in a rematch Walker's Democratic opponent would beat Walker. We will see what happens after Walker has been in office one year. Stay tuned!!

This is the way I see it.......
Im the taxpayer. I dont like to get squeezed!

Too bad the judge can't levy a punitive fine against the WisCONsin GOP.

Or better yet, just jail them all and throw away the key. Habeus Corpus is a waste of time on CONservatives.

Look folks Im not a fan of the GOP but state unions did this to themselves. Ive hated their greed and arm-twisting tactics for many years. Especially the evil teachers union! State Unions funded by tax payers should not exist.

Scott can just ignore the ruling. Hell, Obama does it.

Breaking:
Scott Walker has taken the Anti-Union Law and ran away to ****cago.

something just hit the fan

Hardly....there must be something of substance even in the case of defication...to HIT THE FAN. Its simply more Hyperbole from the left. By self addmission this judge has no authority over the legislative process....even if the STATE, which is represented by the Governors office decided not to appeal this decision based upon LIBERAL BIAS and PAY TO PLAY UNION purchasing of a supposed representative of justice...all that could be hoped for would be a instant replay...and GAME OVER, if the 14 bolt and run again for UNION HEADQUATERS and the DOLLAR there will be a REPEAT, and if they stay there will be forced vote. Its all MOOT superfluous HYPERBOLE as professed even by this RADICAL (county) JUDGE.

Does this ruling mean that the right wing Republicans all over the nation who have repeal of the 20th century on their agenda have to contend with a whole lot more than just the November 2010 election results?

Imagine that!

There are Constitutional provisions in place which will limit the right wing zeal to repeal the 20th century progressive reforms no matter what the election results may has said last November. And that is a very good thing.

Not that I believe you, but what are they specifically?

Call me when they actually start.

It's a process that has always taken years and has not changed under the current administration. It's a very large, complex, and risky engineering task. A lot of geological information has to be carefully gathered. Deepwater drilling especially has never been a fast process to start.

You mean Permit, don't you? One permit has been issued that is all.

j-mac

The process of issuing permits also takes a long time and always has, but we're derailing pretty good here. Can we at least drop the talking point that the judge's ruling has been "ignored?"
