UN Backs Action Against Gaddafi

We played this exactly how we should have. Let others take the lead. I am extremely happy with this.
 
Idiotic British. Why are we getting involved? This is not our concern.
We should have (for once) followed US's lead.

In b4 more Blacks are massacred because the rebels get weapons from Egypt
b4 the Europeans kill a few civilians and start an insurgency and blame game.
b4 Gaddafi clings onto power and we lose all our oil contracts and they get given to another country
b4 we taint the revolution and enable extremists to get into power.

We should have done nothing. The "revolution" has been well and truly tainted

Edit: The French helping is just ****ing amusing on so many levels.
Why is the French not helping in IC where the election was forged and a civil war is breaking out hm?

I believe that your boy Obama has the intention and the ability to ruin this country for quite a long time. Even if he is in office for only 4 years, he could enact programs and policies that would take us decades to recover from. If we ever do.

Obama isn't capable of being the leader of the free world, anyway. He isn't going along with this because it's the right thing to do, but because he doesn't have the balls to do anything else.

Ahead of what? Leadership would be stating a solid case and taking the lead on action to curtail bloodshed, or helping to remove Ghaddafi from power. We've done neither.

Sometimes leadership is getting others to take the lead. In fact, in almost every walk of life where leadership is a factor, this is most often the best kind of leadership. I realize this is a subtlety that will be lost on most mouth frothing right wingers, but it is nevertheless, true.

And this kind of leadership takes courage. It means letting go of what we think we can control, and that is scary. I wouldn't call it "balls" exactly, because, well... That usually refers in my mind to people who THINK they are being courageous, when they are actually just taking I'll considered actions that LOOK courageous.

When exactly will his work be done? What exactly is his aim in regards to the Libya situation? No need to answer, as it could only be your opinion and, as the saying goes, everyone has one.
