Iowa House passes collective bargaining bill

DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - The Iowa House has approved a bill that overhauls the state's collective bargaining law and reduces workers' negotiating rights.
The bill now goes to the Senate, where it is not expected to pass. Republicans who support the bill control the House, while Democrats have a majority in the Senate.

The measure would force state workers to pay at least $100 a month toward the cost of their health care and would not allow them to negotiate layoff procedures.

And the march to reign in spending continues. Too bad the state Dem's are more worried about re-election then they are about fiscal discipline.
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

The more this trend continues the better for our Nation.

Unions have outlived there usefulness, when you look at all the wage and hour laws along with minimum wage laws and OSHA.

Unions were good when they began but htose days are long gone and today they are corrupt and do little for workers and extort money thay then use to bride political crooks.

    I salute Iowa.
