Not really...a Muslim as opposed to who else? Just whom is it irrelevant to? If it's about Muslims who are Americans (which this discussion has been about all along), shouldn't their opinion count?

To keep things on a factual basis, the transcripts from the hearing can be found here.

if the congress would investigate the Christian community for the terrorism that eminates from its members just as it has done the muslim community, then no obvious double standard would be recognized. but since it did not hold a hearing about the Christian community's disproportionate number of terrorists, and the terroristic acts they perpetrate, while encouraging the Christian community to self enforece its membersship, the hearing can only be found hypocritical. more so since the one leading the inquiry is himself a professed, outspoken advocate for (the IRA brand of) terrorism
    Two words folks: Alger. Hiss.

History is a wonderful thing. Especially, if you are actually aware of the historical facts that make up the big picture.

Stillballin, my man, you need to go to the school that you got your history degree from and get your money back.

Why is looking glass a bigot? Or, is that really the only argument you have to defend Islamofacists with?

I wonder if these hearings were announced about Christianity if people here would react the same way.
