Yeah, I guess on Fox news they avoid those stories.

Only, they happen every day... Seems to me, people were protesting a rec center in lower Manhattan. God forbid those Muslims get their hands on basketballs...

Although I wouldn't blame if they stopped speaking out, it's falling on deaf ears and making them more of a target by people who burn their Korans.
No, it is not falling on deaf ears. I welcome any Muslims who speak out against Islamic violence being preached in their Mosques or taught in their schools. But, as mentioned, they are at risk in speaking out.

How many people are burning Korans? And so what if they did? Isn't it about time these people quit getting so offended at every little thing and manned up?

Protesting a rec center? Got any link to that?

Oh I see, so a protest is only legitimate when you agree with the protest, is that right? How many Muslims were attacked during those protests?

Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.

Let's not forget that he also accused these protesters as being violent and that sort of thing happens every day.

If he watched Fox News he'd know a helluva lot more than he does at the moment.

I believe the bigots and xenophobes dubbed it the 'Ground Zero Mosque'. Perhaps you were out of the country when Fox News was scaring viewers with that boogey man. They've moved on to NPR now.

I would say a protest is legitimate when those involved have a grasp on the facts and reality. Otherwise, it's just impotent rage. Case in point--fear and paranoia drummed up by right-wing media only succeeds in dividing people.
