The emergency cooling system is no longer functioning at the No.3 reactor at Tokyo Electric Power Co's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power facility, requiring the facility to urgently secure a means to supply water to the reactor, an official of the Japan Nuclear and Industrial Safety Agency told a news conference.
I would say that we've seen very disappointing performance on these units.

Coal can be made cleaner, but it will never be CLEAN.
Cannabis that would be grown for hemp/ethanol, to used it for recreational purposes; you would have to roll a joint the size of a telephone poll to get a decent buzz…so I’ve been told by experts on the subject.

As for a clean coal, well we better start scrubbing it down at the stack then. I do Believe after this incident the bloom on the nuke rose will start to welt.If you trade in stocks Bill check out Peabody Energy(coal) Monday,i believe it will go thru the roof.
The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say

Here's the latest from the Washington Post: Nuclear power industry watches warily as Japan's aging reactor is hit hard

My guess is they have had a melt down.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

I did read that some of the rods may have partially melted.

Note that this does not mean Chernobyl.

It takes 3 acres of hemp to produce 1 barrel of fuel. You do the math.

the point is your mathematical equation is meaningless without knowing how much energy is required to cultivate 3 acres of hemp.

My original point, was that it takes 3 acres of hemp to produce 1 barrel of fuel. There are approx 60 million acres of available farm land in the United States. That equates to 20,000,000 barrels of fuel. We would have to plant it all in hemp to meet our annual demand. Starting to make sense, or do I have to ask how we're going to eat, if 100% of our farm land is dedicated to hemp production?
