A Stevens County man charged with the attempted bombing along the route of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in Spokane has links to a neo-Nazi group, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Kevin William Harpham, 36, was a member of the neo-Nazi National Alliance in late 2004, Mark Potok, director of the center's Intelligence Project, said following Harpham's arrest Wednesday.

Who says that terrorists have to be Islamic? There are plenty of home grown terrorists, right here in the USA, ranging from radical Christians, such as Timothy McVeigh, to anarchists, like the Unabomber. Add one more to the list, who has been charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction, which carries up to a life sentence. This one is a white supremacist, who was a member of various neo-Nazi organizations right here in the US. I hope this monster never sees the light of day again.

The spirit of bin Laden is a pure and evil hatred, and it isn't just Islamic. He exists in all monsters, and is no respecter of nationality, religion, or skin color.

Will Peter King call for an investigation? Will he call the Glenn Beck race-baiters in to testify?

The crazy Hutaree militia dudes come to mind.

The pacific northwest of the US and parts of southern alberta during the late 80s and early 90s were hotspots for neo nazi's/ ayran nation groups. With various camps being set up out in the back country. So when this story first broke out I figured it would have been a neo nazi member or associate. Thankfully the visiable presence of such groups have decreased dramatically over the last 20 years
