BAGHDAD - A government spokesman says a bomb has hit Iraq's largest oil pipeline, halting exports to Turkey in an insurgent strike that could lead to millions of dollars in losses.
Oil Ministry spokesman Asim Jihad said gunmen planted the bomb on the Beiji pipeline Wednesday evening near the town of Shurqat, 155 miles (250 kilometers) northwest of Baghdad.
Too much coincidence with all these oil problems....Khadaffi and now this.

You mean they're trying to stop the oil that feeds the great satan? Yes, it is a pattern lately.

Please keep in mind that Libya is not in the top 30 of importers of oil to the U.S. So any interuption in oil production or delivery has very loittle to do with the price of gad here.

The Feds need to take over the the oil industry as far ad the prices go to indusre that we are not subject to the speculation wonks that are now caueing our prices ay the pump to go out of control and effect our economy in such a negative manner.

I would be happy to debate Obama on this subject because I have more that 20 years of executive management experience in business and Obama has had none.

BTW I never had a bad year and was always under budget.

That's a conspiracy theory, there's absolutely no way in hell that the global oil cartel would even think about causing unrest in the middle east in such a way that forces a drastic spike in the price of fuel...

Just wait till the Saudi's start protesting... their day of rage scheduled for this friday the 11... and then something further for the 20th.

If there's an interruption in the flow from saudi arabia, well... what do you figure, a doubling of the cost of oil? 190-220$/barrel?

I bet that would just upset the oil cartels greatly to have to charge that much more for oil... but that's just a wacky conspiracy theory. I mean, I bet the oil cartels don't even have the type of money that would be needed to instigate that type of chaos in the middle east.
