Yeah...you guys keep on fighting the real villans here...those state workers that make 25-50K a year. Man...those teachers and firefighters are causing all the economic problems in America today.
Well, guess we all could work for the govt. taking money from the taxpayers which are actual payments from the taxpayers NOT keeping more of what one earns but then who would you have to rail on? I would have thought someone from California would realize what a failure liberalism is but guess you love your misery.

Of course he signed the budget but there wasn't a 1.3 trillion dollar deficit in that budget. The deficit came from TARP, the stimulus, and the Afghanistan supplemental. Where do you think those dollars showed up?

I have used, and continue to use, the following sources...

    ABC

    FOX
    Boston Globe
    New York Times
    LA Times
    CNN
    Reuters
    Associated Content
    AP
Real Clear Politics (links to other sources)

and even a few Media Matters pieces (when I could find one not rife with lies, distortions, misrepresentations, and heavily edited videos)
as well as blogs from various sources...

as have MANY posters here. I suggest Redress, if you dislike my sources, don't read/respond to my posts. That's why there is an IGNORE feature. Feel free to use it.

Oh, btw... only a moron would use a blog that DOESN'T support his stance.

    FInally.....almost 2 1/2 years later......

.....it sounds like the Libtards are officially announcing it is Obama's Economy and no longer George Bush's economy.

......and for the first time in his adult life....The Kenyan Tyrant will be accountable for something.

    Congress writes the actual budget...

This Week's Column: Congress Writes the Budget, Not the President
Echoing the feelings of many in Congress regarding executive branch budget proposals, Lincoln concluded, "I thank the president for his recommendations, but Congress writes the budget. I intend to support measures to reduce the deficit but fight many of the president's proposed cuts that will harm farmers, ranchers and rural communities."
The President sens 'recommendations' to Congress, who then writes the actual budget.

    LOL.

    1) The "takeover" of GM. GM repays U.S. loan, government loss on bailout falls | Reuters

    2) You do realize that Bush initiated TARP. Regardless, President Bush made the right decision and President Obama continued knowing there was no other choice. Was it perfect? NO. Did it prevent the total collapse of the US economy? YES. We were on the brink with the entire world tethered to us.

LOL, do you think before you post, they paid off one loan with more borrowed money, the taxpayers are still in the hole for over 20 billion dollars.

Of course I know that Bush implemented TARP, a 700 billion Toxic Asset Relief Program, and he spent 350 billion of it leaving 350 billion to Obama. If Bush's TARP program did what you say then how is that Obama's success and where is the 1.3 trillion that Obama said he inherited?

What I find interesting is many of those who are mad at Obama for bailing out our auto industry would be calling him anti-American and anti-worker and anti-jobs if he had let Detroit go under.
