BREAKING: Busload of US soldiers fired upon in Frankfurt, Germany

This just came over the TV, and I can't find a link for it yet. As soon as I do, I will post it. A Kosovo national is in custody, and another gunman is dead, after they fired on a busload of American soldiers at the airport in Frankfort. One soldier is dead, and there are also wounded.

EDIT: The link I now have, from NPR, says that there was only one gunman, and that two are dead.

A gunman fired shots at U.S. military personnel on a bus outside Frankfurt airport on Wednesday, killing two people and wounding two before being taken into custody, police said.

Kosovo's interior minister told The Associated Press that German police have identified the gunman as a Kosovo citizen.

At least you agree with me that he didn't sound outraged. So it's not just me. He didn't sound resolute to me either though.

A source tells Fox News that the shooter yelled "Allah Akbar" when opening fire on the U.S. military personnel. He then dropped his gun at the scene, ran into the terminal and was subdued.

Just what did this moron hope to accomplish? I'm sick of hearing all this bull**** about how the extremists who carry out terror attacks are educated and intelligent. They have been brainwashed by a twisted and nonsensical ideology. I'm sorry, if you think shooting innocents gets you 72 virgins or somehow redeems yourself in the eyes of God then you lack the capacity for higher-order thinking. I think the solution is that these guys just need to get laid. Maybe if they get some real ***** they won't be going after imaginary afterlife *****.

I've heard for years now, that they are justified in their actions, because America is bad, or something. If America wasn't bad, they wouldn't have to kill us. No?

No doubt the Muslim world has a few real grievances against the West that are legitimate. But nothing justifies the killing of innocent individuals that haven't laid a finger on you, and for those who thinks that doing so will bring them a good afterlife I seriously question their ability for moral reasoning.

This guy shoots two airmen and then runs like a bitch and gets taken down. I mean, just what the **** was he hoping to achieve?

I'm guessing that what he hoped to accomplish was the killing of American soldiers, which he succeeded in doing, though probably not to the extent he was hoping. As for being innocent, I'm not really sure if such judicialism would apply in this case, as they're members of a military which is currently occupying several nations in the middle east.

Apparently we still don't know exactly why he did this. Was he working with a terrorist group who ordered the attack or was he on his own like the nut case like in AZ. I’m sure Germany has a few of them too. This one jihadi might be a dim bulb or completely nuts I agree that’s a reasonable possibility.

But make no mistake, the jihadis we are fighting today are educated and have proven to be extremely intelligent and very resourceful.

I'm sorry for posting that, and please don't read it as my attitude to these horrid shootings. I really regret those deaths, but am getting very frustrated at double standards operating here.

I hope the families of the two soldiers can grieve and find some peace and support in the love of their friends and family, but I hope that too for the families of the Afghan boys who were killed by NATO helicopters for doing nothing more aggressive than collecting firewood.
