An army of Islamic jihadis hell bent on killing as many infidels as possible while installing an Islamic caliphate across the world. It's not that difficult to figure out. jihadis tell us everyday what they want to do and how they intend to do it.

They use hijacked airplanes, IED's and suicide bombers (including children) to attack our "military power". Just to name a few.

I tend not to imply, Mr. Invisible. If i were to believe all Muslims are terrorists you can be assured that I will say it.

Something tells me. That somewhere there is a definition of what is an army... but who would define what an army is. Such a dilemma... Can anyone tell me who defines what an army is. I don't think you're buggered enough to move down to the ME forum with me. I don't even like it down there. Also, you say global caliphate, is this some sort-of apocalyptic religious thing the US army and a few dozen thousands terrorists are engaged in?

So bomb the children suicide bombers? And bomb the hijacked airplanes? What are you bombing again? How you're going to use a military to fight a global asymmetric war that is more political than it is a classic war... might present a dilemma to you. And last I remembered our allies against terror have used kids as human shields as well... the enemies kids...

You don't remember West Germany, Japan or South Korea asking for the US to keep military bases in those countries? I do. They signed agreements with the US for that very purpose.

I was stationed in SK for a year ('87-'88) and the vast majority of the Korean people are very thankful for the US presence. I went back as a civilian in 97' and they still felt the same way. South Koreans are the nicest and most decent people I've ever met outside the US and they know why the US is there.

Do you realize South Korean 'defense' is an inheritance from Japan? And I'm not sure how voluntary Japans occup---- protectorate was initially. Mind you, I don't defend empires, the essentials don't differ too strongly. Also 'vast majority very thankful for the US presence' well... don't know about that without seeing numbers. Theres also alot of people unhappy with the US there as well. I couldnt estimate what it was like at all, nor likely you if on the DMZ.

    It's been, what, a decade now - yep - full 10 years.

And only one single punk kid tries to plan to bomb his house. Where have all the other hateful people been all this damned time?
A screaming comes across the sky.
It has happened before, but there is nothing to compare it to now.

Trying to set off explosive devices but their hatreds seem to have overwhelmed their intelligence.

Of course a lot of hateful Muslims have been successful in destroying innocent lives since 9/11, and before, There are websites where you can actually follow their successes against innocent victims, if you genuinely want to learn more about it.

Of course the term Army can be used in many contexts, not just military. In this case, the "Army" in question is a group of armed jihadis targeting innocent people around the world.

No, it wouldn't be that at all. How or why you would think that is anyone's guess.

Again, jihadis tell us everyday what they want to do and how they intend to do it.

We attack the jihadis before they strap the bombs on children. We kill them before they hijack airplanes. We are attacking Islamic jihadis who are deliberately targeting innocent people around the world.

This war is mostly political and I firmly believe it will not be won on the battlefield. There are many fronts in this war. The battlefield is important and must be won. No matter how much social or political success is achieved in the ME, it will not survive without winning on the battlefield.

I have no idea what you can possibly mean by this. US and coalition military forces are using kids as human shields?

I think you have the US and our allies confused with Islamic jihadis.
