Look, I am content with where all of this is going...we've had enough.

This is a loser for you/the Left...watch and see.

btw - the Clarus research group has exactly two employees and revenues of under a million dollars a year. that hardly places them in the same universe - let alone the same league as Gallup.

the right always seems to have "had enough" when the story turns against their belief system. Until that time its all high moral platitudes about the will of the people. Then we find out that the will of the people is against what you want.

    what does this post mean?

Here is how Gallup took its survey

    Survey Methods
Results for this USA Today/Gallup poll are based on telephone interviews conducted Feb. 21, 2011, with a random sample of 1,000 adults, aged 18 and older, living in the continental U.S., selected using random-digit-dial sampling.

For results based on the total sample of national adults, one can say with 95% confidence that the maximum margin of sampling error is 4 percentage points.

Interviews are conducted with respondents on landline telephones (for respondents with a landline telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell phone-only). Each sample includes a minimum quota of 150 cell phone-only respondents and 850 landline respondents, with additional minimum quotas among landline respondents for gender within region. Landline respondents are chosen at random within each household on the basis of which member had the most recent birthday.

Samples are weighted by gender, age, race, education, region, and phone lines. Demographic weighting targets are based on the March 2010 Current Population Survey figures for the aged 18 and older non-institutionalized population living in continental U.S. telephone households. All reported margins of sampling error include the computed design effects for weighting and sample design.

In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

PRINCETON, NJ -- Gallup finds organized labor taking a significant image hit in the past year. While 66% of Americans continue to believe unions are beneficial to their own members, a slight majority now say unions hurt the nation's economy. More broadly, fewer than half of Americans -- 48%, an all-time low -- approve of labor unions, down from 59% a year ago.

I do NOT see that in this study? Where is it exactly? Your opening line with a Princeton NJ dateline does not even match up with the opening line of the Gallup survey on its own site.

A poll like this doesn't even pass the common sense test. Pfft.

I completely agree that a poll from a virtually unknown outfit like Clarus does not pass the common smell test. Some outfit with two employees and a tiny income certainly pales in the seventy year credibility of Gallup - the gold standard in public polling.

    For once we agree.

No, America said it's had enough in November.

This Union thing is no more than an extension of the Obama problem.

It's ok....2012 will bare me out.

    Poll: Americans oppose weaker unions
By Dennis Cauchon, USA TODAY Updated
MADISON, Wis. — Americans strongly oppose laws taking away the collective bargaining power of public employee unions, according to a new USA TODAY/Gallup Poll. The poll found 61% would oppose a law in their state similar to such a proposal in Wisconsin, compared with 33% who would favor such a law.
I do not believe it for one moment.

Only 11% of American workers are unionized. I don't know who they asked, but they weren't standing in front Grand Central Station.
The devil whispered in my ear, "You cannot withstand the storm." I whispered back, "I am the storm."
