Rahm Emanuel wins Chicago mayoral vote

And you know what that point is exactly? The poster said this

And there is a point here beyond the obvious when somebody knows that if they post certain things that others will see it as racist?

I expect it, because Libbos will always resort to the, "yooze-a-racist", argument.

but so what? What is the point in all this? Is there a point in all this?

He likes creating race drama.

To explain: The candidates had essentially the same views about welfare and entitlements. The major campaigning was done between Chico and Emanuel, and it focused on raising the sales tax in Chicago. Chico also ran ads talking about how Rahm grew up in a affluent suburb, while Chico grew up in a blue collar part of the city. But as far as what the majority of people saw in this race, there was precicely **** all about welfare and entitlements.

But instead of saying something that makes sense and actualy addresses teh campaign or real situation here, apdst instead decides to inject race into the discussion for not other purpose than to create race drama.

He does this by claiming that Rahm was voted in because minorities wanted entitlements.

Now, anyone from Chicago or who has actually followed the election is aware of how stupid and absurd this claim is with regard to the actual race that existed in reality, but most peopel aren't going to be all that aware of anything more than Rahm emanuel and possibly Braun.

Anyway, apdst makes this claim coupled with the "prediction" that he will be accused of racism because of it. People who do not know that he is black might look at the inherently prejudiced claim that he made and then assume that he is racist and make teh acusation of racism which then allows him to gleefully point out that he is black. The truth is that apdst is not racist. He's a race-baiter. He often injects race into discussions that have nothing to do with race because he seems to love playing the "I'm not racist, I'm a black conservative. You liberals are the real racists!" card.

What it actually does, is show the stupidity of the garden variety Libbo, that automatically assumes that all Conservatives are white and will use the, "yooze-a-racist", argument to try and scare Conservatives. It's a fact tat any criticism of anything, or anyone that is non-white, will be seen as racist by Libbos. If you Libbos don't like finding out that I'm not white, then maybe they should drop their pre-concieved notions about Conservatives. Just sayin'.

At least you admit that you are a race-baiter.

I'm a minority, too and I'm not on welfare, I'm not unemployed. I'm also not so ****ing stupid to think that a 35% unemployment rate within the black community is ok, either; nor am I going to ignore the fact. I'm also not going to ignore the fact that minorities make up 70% of the welfare rolls in the U.S. Let's face it, the Libbos have bought off all minorities with government handouts.

I also think it's highly chicken **** to call me a racist for pointing out those facts. I point out real live problems within my own community and I'm a ****ing racist? **** that ****!

Well then how about instead of s***ting on people, how about you try to understand the reasons why they are poor? There is a thing called intergenerational poverty and there are reasons behind it.

At least you admit that you are a race-baiter.

actually it was my fault. When a poster dragged out the race card, infered without provocation that ADPST was a racist. I asked adpst to play it up and ask this poster to expound because it clearly demonstrates the absurdity of "right wing" and "racist" nonsense that gets leveled against anyone who disagrees with certain far left wingers.....

I found it funny..... and an eye opening exercise.... ADPST was actually talking some fact here, and immediately branded a racist... Given his perspective and background, I thought it would be a great opportunity to shine a light on the cockroach that is the right wingers are racists charge..... I succeeded... Don't hate me, I "reverse" race baited. And I liked it...... :pimpdaddy:

The poster who dragged out the race card in this thread was apdst in post #7 by talking about an irrelevant issue in this Mayoral race.

Rahm did not win because he "promised minorities a free meal ticket". anyone who actually followed the race knows this.

apdst's post was pure race-baiting.

he didn't say that....

A city that has a population that is 61% minorites and Rahmbeaux comes in promising a free meal ticket. Nope, no surprise that he won.

He was suggesting his community relies too much on handouts and what not. I actually agree with him. I think he oversimplifies the issue, but he's not wrong here. Hyperbolic maybe. but not far off base.... It's not racist, nor is it race baiting to make such an observation, but it is race baiting to respond by calling him in so many words a racist over it.

Rahm offering a "free meal ticket" had nothing to do with him getting elected. The population being 61% minority had nothing to do with him getting elected. All of the candidates had the same basic views on that particular issue.

Rahm got elected because he was the biggest name of the bunch. They were all the same politically. Injecting race into the discussion is pure race baiting.

Usually I would agree with you, but after seeing how he was called in so many words a racist, I thought it was worth it... I for one grew so sick of cowards calling me a racist because of my support of the tea party, I felt it rather satisfying to see it blow up in one of thier faces...

Sorry man, but when you get called a racist over and over again, and you see an opportunity to embarass one of the accuser types. I let it ride., It's all on me here.

He was called racist in so many words after he race baited. He expected it because he set it up to start with.

Your sympathy is misplaced because he wanted to be called a racist, that's why he said what he said. He's admitted this already.

I don't think he thought about it until I got involved. Blame me, I race baited..... To demonstrate a point.... Seriously. It was me who took what was said and took it to its logical conclusion. I'm the guilty party here. Nothing, ADPST posted was racist, however, he was essentially called one.

Since Libbos can't just have a discussion as Americans and have to hide behind the race issue to protect their arguments, I'm a race baiter?

Chicago is well and truly ****ed.

They didn't need this to be well and truly ****ed. It's Chicago. When was the last time they didn't have a corrupt politician in charge? That place is a mecca of political corruption, it's essentially organized crime in political form.

Since Libbos can't just have a discussion as Americans and have to hide behind the race issue to protect their arguments, I'm a race baiter?

So you only race baited because liberals would have any way so it was justified? That is hilarious.

And, you're putting words in my mouth, because...?

No, you couldn't have a discussion as an American without injecting race into it, therefore you are a race-baiter.

And, you're putting words in my mouth, because...?

I am trying to understand your argument. You race baited in this thread, clearly. You where the first to do so. How is this liberals fault?

I'm not a racist, just a race baiter. How is that different?

I was personally attacke as being a racist, because a Libbos didn't dig what I had to say. Had Wiseone not accused me of racism, we wouldn't even be having this discussion.

I never said anythign apdst posted was racist. What he posted in post #7 was race-baiting. You hadn't even posted in the thread at that point. You jumped in because some fish took his race-bait.
