I understand that, but that doesn't address the question. Are the individual neocons and liberals who spent us (we the people) into this mess, "evil"? It's a yes or no here, don't go all gray on me.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

Yeah, like the old line about "The Devil made me do it", only it's been modified somewhat to "The Great Satan made me do it".

No because they think in their diluted minds they think they are actually doing something good. Being misguided isnt evil, it's being retarded.

    A very reasonable answer.

    Re: Hero's unwelcome

I'm reposting it so some of you will quit spewing your lies.

Maschek 2 days ago offered the following comment in the Columbia newspaper:

" To all who have expressed concern or outrage over the reported events at the Columbia University ROTC Town Hall meeting:

Comments by a small number of individuals at the town hall meeting have not changed my positive experiences at Columbia. Thus far, my fellow students have been very interested in hearing about my past life and military experiences. Columbia has been attempting to get more veterans to share their experiences here, and the atmosphere here has been supportive despite the actions of a very small minority of the town hall participants."

If you read the transcript, you can see exactly when the hisses were made and exactly to what they objected. Also, you can see there were retorts made to those students by others.

And here's the response by the U.S. Military Veterans of Columbia University

That the OP article is fabricating lies and exaggerating things.

Everyone's reacting here to something that isn't true, that's my point.

I went to columbia for my undergrad and both my grad degrees, still live in morningside heights and participate in events and am a very generous donor. I won't stand for precisely what this article is - slander.
