'Fake' Sick Notes Given to Wisconsin Protesters Amid Anti-Union Bill Faceoff

This might play into the Governors hands and give just cause to fire a bunch of teachers for submitting false excuses for unauthorized absenteeism.

I would LMAO if this happened.

'Fake' Sick Notes Given to Wisconsin Protesters Amid Anti-Union Bill Faceoff - FoxNews.com

As thousands of protesters on both sides of an epic budget standoff in Wisconsin faced off Saturday at the Capitol, alleged doctors were handing out 'fake' sick notes to protesters -- allowing them to call in sick while the budget impasse continues.

Protesters told Fox News they obtained the notes from alleged doctors standing on street corners handing them out to whomever asked. The protesters said doctors did not examine or inquire about their current health condition before passing the notes out.

Fraud is always welcome at the Democrat table.........

....hard to imagine what would happen if it was Republican's writing fake doctor notes, pulling our children out of school for union slob protests, shutting down schools in the name of Union slobbery, or fleeing a state in order to obstruct the wishes of the people.

Maybe it is a republican writing the fake notes and getting it on video. What better way to discredit the teachers? It's pure genius.

Now your talking like me. However my first reaction to your post is that it would be way too risky to do because it is just the type of devious idea the Democrats are famous for.

I just checked the headlines on the MSNBC site and saw no mention of the fake Doctors notes.

When I was an employer this was an offense worthy of termination for cause, which means no unemployment benefits.

That was a nonunion business and I am not really versed on what the Teachers Union Contrasts might contain.

Somebody here who advocates for the firing of the teachers should back up their contention by finding the contract language and quoting it. Otherwise, its just a bunch of nothing being repeated over and over and over in thread after thread after thread.

I will help you... here is the Milwaukee contract

    http://www.nctq.org/docs/48-08.pdf

the provision on use of sick bank is on page 64 and continues. Basically, after three consecutive days of using sick days, the administrator can ask for a doctors note.

This is very interesting. Look at who is funding this story, and look how conveniently doctors are handing out notes, when it is something they could lose their licenses over, and they allow EVERYBODY to see them doing it? This story is very, very fishy.

Does anyone know how many notes were handed out or if anyone actually accepted them?

Getting your union disbanded by the Governor would be classified as union business. I don't know if they can get fired for particpating.

Conservatives hate anything that has to do with learning.

Re: 'Fake' Sick Notes Given to Wisconsin Protesters Amid Anti-Union Bill Faceoff

Fake notes? How can they be 'fake' if a licensed physician gave a person a note stating that so-and-so was seen by me on a certain date? Who decided they were 'fake'? Did a licensed physician examine that person immediately afterward and decided - in their opinion - that that person was not sick? If they did, how would their opinion trump the original physician's diagnosis? The only way they can be 'fake' is if the physician was NOT a licensed physician.

Or, are the cons now deciding that it's OK for someone to get between a patient and their physician?
