Somehow, legislators leaving their home, their families, their constituents doesn't strike me as cowardly. It sounds like a last recourse. It stops the process temporarily for lack of a quorum and gives the people of the state a chance to examine what's being ramrodded through the legislature. But, ultimately these senators, they're Wisconsin patriots or should I say ‘Packers’? They'll go home but not before Wisconsin voters have a chance to see what is being done in their name.

You can read the fiscal bureaus report here (PDF). It holds that "more than half" of the new shortfall comes from three of Walker's initiatives:
    • $25 million for an economic development fund for job creation, which still holds $73 million because of anemic job growth.
    • $48 million for private health savings accounts -- a perennial Republican favorite.
    • $67 million for a tax incentive plan that benefits employers, but at levels too low to spur hiring.

In essence, public workers are being asked to pick up the tab for this agenda. "The provisions in his bill do two things simultaneously," Norman says. "They remove bargaining rights, and having accomplished that, make changes in the benefit packages." That's how Walker's plan saves money. And when it's all said and done, these workers will have lost their bargaining rights going forward in perpetuity.

I see it differently. I see them as individuals who are too scared to do their jobs and vote on a bill because they know it will not end in their favor. So, in scheming cowardice they have decided to abuse a loophole in the law and boycott a vote on a bill they know they can't win against. They do this by running away from their duties and refusing to face what lies ahead of them. They are trying to restrict the democratic rights of other senators and trying to immaturely "get their way." They aren't patriots, a patriot wouldn't try to prevent American democracy because they disagree with the other side who is backed by the will of the people.

How is this relevant? I don't believe Obama was born in Africa or that Michelle Obama killed anyone...

Thats what it is and nothing more. They are doing what their constituents elected them to do which is to oppose the other party. Even if that means fleeing town to prevent a bill they oppose from passing.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

Not oppose the other party. Oppose union-busting legislation in the land that brought collective action to America. You would expect nothing less from your representatives, yes?

We protest against Governor Walker's tactics and his bogus union-busting budget.

Here is a cool math trick

    1.Make up a 3 digit number.
2.put that 3 digit number next to itself. For example if you pick 123 then it would be 123123.
    3.Divide that number by 13
    4.divide that number by 7
    5.divided that number by 11

Whats the point of me bringing up a math trick? The point is it doesn't have jack **** to do with the topic of the thread just like your little rant.
