ok.... so what happens with the teachers who were not liars, and went to work those days? with schools closing over this, are they to be compensated the same as the liars?

how long is the current school year there, how many days are they allotted for closed days from snow, and idiot teachers pretending to be sick?

the governor plan on sitting down with them? them picking up more of the costs i don't believe will be a problem...the problem has been the governor deciding he was going to ram this down their throats, and strip them of rights...if the governor puts the stop to this bill, and sits down with the unions, this will be over real quick.

You will have to ask each school district how they will handle that. I can tell you from my experience that when we have work stoppages, a very small number of scabs went in and worked - usually for a day or two and then were sent home and told to stay home. At the end of the school year, those scabs DID NOT get one dollar more than anyone else. Their annual yearly salary was honored to the penny as was the rest of us.

Come on Greenie, you know better than this. Being a union member yourself, you know the golden rule, Never negotiate from a position of weakness. Right now the Gov. holds the cards.

You shouldn't be allowed to "hold work stoppages".....You know what happens if I refuse to work? I lose my job. So should they.

So they actually did the job they were hired for, but were paid the same as those who are liars and pretended to be sick... Sad really that the children have to suffer because of all this. Shouldn't the fake sick people be docked pay according to your document, given it's an unexcused absense? Meaning those that did not lie, should be paid for attempting to do the job they were hired for?

care to discuss what i said without spewing garbage? yes j, i'm a union member, and proud of it. i've said it once, i'll say it again, you know jacksquat about unions, or how they work...you have preconceived notions, plus what you have been spoon fed by those that oppose unions.

The Governor cannot even hold the Legislature in session because they do not have the minimum number present to take action. He is hardly holding all the cards.
