Those "in hiding" are running from the inevitable as cowards. They may try to convince themselves that what they are doing is "moral." However, it's also despicable as they are abusing the political system and running from a democratic vote that they know they can't win. They are trying to have their way in an inappropriate manner by abusing rules and attempting to halt democracy. Personally, I think it's morally wrong for these unions to have such special deals at the taxpayer expense. It's also morally wrong to abuse loopholes in laws in an attempt to repress the democratic rights of an opposing opinion on an issue.

It's an unfair law and the government needs to cut their budgets. This is one way to do it, and it's one of the right ways to do it.

Okay, then please explain what destroying collective bargaining does for balancing the budget? Or Walker's tax cuts? Can you explain that one please?

Godwin's law... A majority also voted to defeat him through force (war).

Unions unfairly suck money from government coffers through unfair and unwarranted employee benefits at the taxpayers' expense.

It's immoral to circumvent the democratic process and fail to perform the task that they are paid to perform simply because they think their morality is superior to other people's.

Ah, okay, so you can't answer the question.

Not to mention that in past contracts that they gave up wages in lieu of a pension plan? Now the repugs come along and want to steal their pension.
The haggardness of poverty is everywhere seen contrasted with the sleekness of wealth, the exhorted labor of some compensating for the idleness of others, wretched hovels by the side of stately colonnades, the rags of indigence blended with the ensigns of opulence; in a word, the most useless profusion in the midst of the most urgent wants.Jean-Baptiste Say

    You're totally wrong, too.

    1) Hitler lost the presidential election of 1932 and 2) there was no election in 1934.

Be that as it may, you still don't get to ditch the system, just because you don't like the outcome.

Who wants to bet that when the Dems get kicked out of the government, even more in '12, that there is a violent uprising by the Leftists?

Contempt for working people? I have a contempt for the entitlement mindset and the abuse of employee unions to choke the throat of federal and private employers.
