These savages should be shot and killed. Think they will face any justice?
Of course they won't, cause Obama is a big puss.

I don't think that comparison is the same. In a war zone, you expect bullets. In supposedly "pro Democracy" demonstrations in broad daylight with security and hundreds of people around, you don't (or I don't) automatically think rape. Besides, are you comparing these rapists to soldiers in battle?

And in a crowd of tens of thousands, don't you expect danger?

I think that's the common mistake - we, Americans, think that pro-Democracy has the safety and same meaning everywhere, just like it has here. It doesn't. There was an expectation of danger going into that crowd and she well knew and heard that other journalists have been assaulted - seriously injured. She had a lapse in judgement. Are you seriously saying she didn't?
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

I don't think I've ever been accused of being PC. You might want to consider, before you say that about me, that you're essentially making the same argument as Hatuey and WhySoSerious. No, I think we've seen the PC response here, and that's to be more concerned with what this event did to damage the protesters' image than what this did to damage the victim.

You think by even suggesting some blame on her or her handlers, rape is condoned. That's bull****.
Once again, I'm not saying that anyone condones this. I'm willing to believe that nobody does. I'm just expressing frustration at the idea that Logan is partially at fault here. Blaming everything but the scum suckers who did this is akin to blaming "society" for a criminals actions in the US and that is most decidedly not a conservative position in my eyes.

I don't think we'll close the gap, because you still think she made zero mistakes. And btw, that doesn't mean the bastards don't deserve punishment, it only means that the risks were improperly assessed but everyone up the line.

Yeah, I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree here.

Pretty much sums it up with a one-word headline.

Just to dispell any unsubstantiated chatter...

    According to WSJ:
The separation and assault lasted for roughly 20 to 30 minutes, said a person familiar with the matter, who added that it was "not a rape."
