Obama says people who hate him don't know him

I don't hate the man, I have never met him. Hate is a pretty strong emotion that I think has to be rooted in some personal contact to arrive at such an emotion. However, I don't like him based on his demeanor, his lying, his arrogance, and his vision of what America is.

It's just funny coming from anyone who supported Bush.

Sarah Palin has TV shows, book deals, speech deals and she's hated on a personal level but Obama isn't? YOU ****ING PARTISAN HYPOCRITE.

Palin and her family are attacked on a personal level. Only hate could make people say the horrible things said about that family.

But O'Reilly wasn't speaking in generalities. He said "Some people rally hate you." and when Obama tried to downplay it by saying that people "dislike" him, O'reilly made it a point to stress that it was HATE.

Why would he do that if he didn't actually believe that some people really do hate Obama? You'd think it would be detrimental for O'Reilly's side to go that route, no?

Some people really do. I think that is true. We might argue whether it is a large enough number to matter. but we all likely know someone who hates.

I'm sure there are people who hate Obama. He's sleazy, as noted by his handling of his disgusting mentor Wright. I don't hate Obama, and my guess is most Conservatives don't. It's not about personalities... it's about judgment and policy. Obama has tragic judgment (Wright, Ayers, Khalidi, Cambridge Cops...) and his policy is simply pathetic. It's anti-American.

I mean what moron gives nuke secrets of our primary ally to the Russians when the ally says no?

.

Ah, another bull****ting partisan saying he doesn't hate Obama on a personal level. Please stop it? You're the text book definition of a partisan hack who hates politicians on a personal level.

No...he didn't. He will be remembered well one day.

Never has a president been attacked with such unwarranted vitriole as Bush.

Actually, Bush did us great harm, but he also did some good. His appointment of Conservative judges, for instance, is something he will become well known for by historians. His stance on taxes was also good. However, we must admit that the present economic crises began towards the end of his administration, and that Obama inherited it. However, Obama is doing much to make it even worse.

This is not a time to be partisan, but to acknowledge the problems created by BOTH political parties, not just the one you don't like.

I call these people Palin haters.(just a few comments I've gathered from the internet.) Disagreeing with Obama on policies does not a hater make.

Sasha and Malia are much more mature and have more class than those of the Palin Klan
Gee, I wonder who taught them to talk like truck drivers -- could be their phony two-faced mom?
If the Koch Bro's weren't A-sexual she might be able to last longer...sorry Sarah..your political meter is about to expire.
Only pure idiots would give their money to that buffoon
obviously stupid behaviors and statements that come from those lipstick red lips.

At least I knew how to spell "you're" when I was that age, Palin must be a bad parent.
They are certain to being scum like most blue bloods.
i don't give a **** anyway. it's typical palin behavior
Yeah I want her running the country, bleh!
The Walking Dead has a much more believable cast of characters
, her negatives are phenominal!
No one seriously thought she wrote this herself?
Her male supporter of her's must have big time penis envy by now ! Too bad her brain doesn't match the size of her's.

She can always open a Christian Extemist Day Care Center..modeling it after Hitlers youth movement no doubt...that should keep her in thrift store panty hose and Cartier bobbles and beads

She loves violence..it's in her Fascist gene pool obviously.
I want her gone so bad, I taste it every single day.
Media Matters Placed The Trap....and as Patrick said, SHE FELL FOR IT. Let's hope this RUINS any chance of her getting any further.

really makes me want to barf
I have infinitely more respect for zombies than Sarah Palin.

No money, her hubby will find another and younger wife, and her kids will more likely than not ..not be speaking to her either.

What's so funny? maybe I can make a point to you and answer Tucker's question at the same time.

Although I personally don't associate the term "Hate" with something I can ascribe to a sitting President, I don't discount that there are some who will, and do "hate" the man. Just as there are Liberals that to this day harbor hatred for Bush, or Cheney, or even irrational hatred for such things as websites like AmThinker....;)

But, to me in order to actually "hate" someone, you have to have a primal sort of real emotion about that person.

Now, I think that Obama is a liar, and destructive to this country, and its goals as a nation, I certainly don't "hate" him personally.

Should O'Reiley have used the term "hate", eh, sure, why not? Every day on MSNBC we see misrepresentations that would lead one to conclude that there is real 'hate' going on there for those who are not of the liberal mindset.

First, note the part that made me laugh:

J-mac said:

Bush's demeanor was a serious issue, as was his lack of honesty, not to mention arrogance. And as he invisioned an America where torture was OK, spying on citizen's, ok, and where rule of law took a backseat to fear, . . . well, . . . are you sure you don't see why you make me laugh?

Another thing. I don't hate American Thinker. I don't respect it, as it is often illogical and inaccurate. We should all desire something better than they put out. :coffeepap

I just hate Obama's policies. He is and inept president.

Worst President in my lifetime then.
I'm a Conservative so of course when we have the most liberal president ever, I'm going to have a problem with him.

He's not the most liberal president ever, he seems to be more center.

If you want to see the most liberal president ever, then elect me for President. :tongue4:

Yet on those occasions when this was railed by the left, including you in another forum, you defended it as proper in a free country. Now you do everything in your power to try and paint those who may have the same feelings about this President as you did about Bush, and Cheney as somehow wrong for having them. It is quite hypocritical Joe.

AmThinker is an opinion site. Nothing more, nothing less. So, do you have no respect for those who hold opinions that you don't agree with? Keep in mind that most of these that post their op eds on that site have the creds to know a little something about which they write.

j-mac

You won't mind if some disagree, will you? :coffeepap

Why yes. Holding to your own standards, disagreement shows a lack of logic, and accuracy according to you. So either agree or STFU...Isn't that how it goes?

j-mac

What makes you think he is center at all. He is a known liar, so this ruse of being in the center is nothing more than campaigning IMHO.

J, now that's not my standard. Not at all. So take a deep breath, and try some other tact. :coffeepap

Jesus **** J-Mac come on. He's a politician for **** sake.

Calling a politician a liar is as redundant as pointing our Micheal Jackson had plastic surgery...

Not sure what you're refering to, but I have never supported anything other than objecting to policies. Sure, bush lied. That's clear. And yes, he was arrogant to say the least. And he was legally challenged. But there were actual issues and polices to discuss, and there are those with Obama. What's funny is that you don't see how you described Bush.

Opinion is not a excuse for sloppy logic or lack of logic. Nor does it excuse inaccuracy. The Walstreet journal has an opinion section as well, and seldom make the type of illogical leaps AT does. You shouldn't really try to excuse such a poor source. And you sure can't excuse it just because it is opinion.

Obama says people who hate him don't know him

this is true. those who know him really hate him. :lamo

I'm sure Barack Obama is a wonderful husband and father. That doesn't matter.

Obama is the representative of all American leftists. I hate all leftists. Thus, I hate Obama.

I feel sorry for you.

I feel sorry for you.

Thanks for the good wishes, but that sentiment is of little use to leftists. In due course you will feel sorry for the destruction of leftist ideology and dogma. There's a storm coming.

There's a storm coming.

And many extremists on the right are doing their best to do everything they can to make sure it gets here faster and blows harder and more forceful that it otherwise would. The dearly are willing to have the vast majority lose and lose big so that their extremist ideology has a tiny chance of succeeding.

And that is sad.

I feel sorry for you.

You are too goo hearted Star. I long ago gave up feeling sorry for the willfully blind because they have adopted extremist ideology. Believe me, they would extend no pity on you of any kind. You will simply be collateral damage in their desire to remake society for the few, by the few and in the image of the few.
