Re: Egypt protests: Muslim Brotherhood 'to join talks

The Muslim Brotherhood is the only organized political opposition in Egypt, because under Mubarak no other political parties were allowed to be formed. The only candidates allowed on the ballot other than those from his own party were all labeled "independents". Of course MB will be at the table, otherwise Mubarak's people will be sitting there alone.

If democratic reform is to take place, the first thing they have to do is allow the creation of opposing political parties. Once they've done that, there will be more than two people at the negotiating table, starting at each other with suspicious eyes. There will be a dozen people at the negotiating table staring at each other with suspicious eyes. You see? Progress!!

Al-qaeda,s jihadi holy wars doctrine, was being pushed by former brotherhood members(Abdullah Azzam) but the leaders at that time renounced revolutionary violence and the jihadist interpretation of the Koran.

The key is in the above paragraph if you care to pursue it.Goodnight this ole trucker has to hit the bunk now.
Hitler renounced violence, too. Did that make his a good guy?

Goodwin's Law is alive and well at DP.

At least we made it to post #43 before Hitler entered the thread.

Professor Goodwin, U of I, in 1981 made the observation that Usenet discussions gravitate downhill.

<He postulated that as the length of a discussion thread grows, the probability approaches one (1) that one participant will introduce the terms "Hitler" or "Nazi".>

<The custom has evolved that the first party to utter "Hitler" or "Nazi" has lost the discussion, and the thread terminates.>

    Hello doncster:

Have you ever seen these words? Huh?

"Allah is our objective. The messenger is our leader. Quran is our law. Jihad is our way. Dying in the way of Allah
    is our highest hope."

That's the Muslim Brotherhood creed isn't it? "JIHAD IS OUR WAY." That's clear isn't it?

No kitman or taqiyaa in those words is there?

This is a HUGE step toward the attempted annhilation of Israel and the beginning of World War 3.

But it's easier to just bury our head in the sand and pretend that the Muslim Brotherhood doesn't seek a worldwide Sharia state. You're just kidding yourselves if you believe that.

The Bible was written two thousand years ago, but the creed of the Muslim Brotherhood is only decades old. No kitman, no taqiyya.

Read what you just posted but before you do you might want to rap a few warm towels around the dome so the brain cell gets warmed up a bit.
