I didnt say they all were......but many are.......and your "solution" does in no way what so ever address the filth that should first in line to be deported.
Who ever gets deported should be who ever is first finished serving their sentence.

Fake documents are a dime a dozen. I guess we should mandate that all employers take classes in spotting fake documents......OR FINE THEM!
It shouldn't be too hard for an employer to do a back ground check to make sure the applicant is who they say they are.

Two to Tango indeed. So lets also start fining The Landlords, The Mortgage Companies, The Utility Companies, and The Grocers.
Is it illegal to rent, sell property to illegals? Is it illegal for the utility companies for sell water, gas or electricity to illegals? Is is illegal for grocery stores to sell groceries to illegals? NO? Is it illegal for some piece of **** to hire an illegal? Yes it is.So is absurd to say we should jail the grocer for selling groceries to illegals.

.........if Illegals didnt have a home, food, heat, water, and electricity........they wouldnt be coming here or staying here. If its good for the goose.....
Your defense of scumbags who hire illegals amuses me. You almost remind me of another poster who kept defending these scumbags who hire illegals. Is that you Voidwar?

    http://www.debatepolitics.com/archiv...-verify-2.html

Damn right it isnt the only "solution". Here is a crazy idea......lets punish THE ACTUAL CRIMINALS.....rather than all the American Citizens that come after the fact.
Those who hire illegals are criminals.

    Punishment for Illegals--The Actual Criminals
    1. Warm Bed
    2. Free Food
    3. Free Bus Ride Home
    4. Thank you for coming, please try again.
They should be thrown in jail for a minimum of six months before being deported.

Proposed Punsihment For American Citizens who knowingly or unknowingly hire Illegals
    1. Fine them up the ***
    2. Destroy their Business
    3. Throw them in Jail
The part in bold is what many are concerned about. If you knowingly hire an illegal or deliberaltly not do the proper checks in order to hire illegals those three things should happen to you.

Bank Robberies are not the fault of Banks.
It is if the pay someone to rob their bank.

....Auto Theft is not the fault of Car Owners..
It is if the car owner pays someone to steal his car.

....and Illegal Immigration is not the fault of the few remaining US Employers.
Most of these 12-20 million in this country are here because of the fact these pieces of **** will hire illegals.

The deterrent is only effective as the punishment is harsh. And considering the punishment for Illegaly crossing this border is a warm bed, free food, and a free bus ride.
Which is why they should serve jail time before getting their free bus ride home.

.......I think the focus should be on punishing THE ACTUAL CRIMINALS......rather than the few US Employers that still reside in this country.
Those who hire illegals are criminals. They are just as much as a criminal as those who come here illegally.

FAIR: The Law Against Hiring or Harboring Illegal Aliens
    Summary

A person (including a group of persons, business, organization or local government) commits a federal felony when he:

    * assists an alien whom he should reasonably know is illegally in the U.S. or who lacks employment authorization, by transporting, sheltering, or assisting him to obtain employment,
    * encourages that alien to remain in the U.S., by referring him to an employer, by acting as employer or agent for an employer in any way, or
    * knowingly assists illegal aliens due to personal convictions.

Penalties upon conviction include criminal fines, imprisonment, and forfeiture of vehicles and real property used to commit the crime.

Anyone employing or contracting with an illegal alien without verifying his work authorization status is guilty of a misdemeanor. Aliens and employers violating immigration laws are subject to arrest, detention, and seizure of their vehicles or property. In addition, individuals or entities who engage in racketeering enterprises that commit (or conspire to commit) immigration-related felonies are subject to private civil suits for treble damages and injunctive relief.

But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murder is less to fear"

And if you require state agencies to verify the legal status of those seeking IDs, driver's licenses, welfare and other tax payer funded services and benefits you eliminate one of the reasons illegals come here. Oklahoma has done this.

In addition the programs have destroyed the work ethic of those who become dependent on them. Entitlement programs are nothing but another forum of theft by another name.
This is why the emphasis on welfare should be changed from hand out to helping hand like requiring able bodied individuals to seek jobs or lose welfare. Perhaps laws can be created to easily hook up employers with welfare recipients.

The immigration debate is the perfect time to show why they need to be killed.
If states or perhaps even the federal government does what Oklahoma did the issue of illegals and tax payer funded benefits and services will be a non issue.

People are noting coming here illegally because they can buy groceries, rent houses or get gas and electricity. Their main reason for coming here illegally is because traitorous scumbags will hire them. I agree that property owners should not rent, sell, lend or lease or give property to illegals and that Utility companies should not sell services to illegals. As far as banning grocery stores from selling groceries to illegals you are just being a moron.

Well thats "not the LAW" now is it?

It is the law that illegals can be jailed for up to six months before being deported.

    Illegal Immigration IS A CRIME!

Under Title 8 Section 1325 of the U.S. Code, "Improper Entry by Alien," any citizen of any country other than the United States who:

    * Enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers; or
    * Eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers; or
    * Attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact;

    has committed a federal crime.

Violations are punishable by criminal fines and imprisonment for up to six months. Repeat offenses can bring up to two years in prison. Additional civil fines may be imposed at the discretion of immigration judges, but civil fines do not negate the criminal sanctions or nature of the offense.

.....and just as it was seen in this thread.......so many are quick to point the finger at US EMPLOYERS.......rather than the Actual Criminal Infestation that has invaded this country.
If you deliberately hire an illegal or refuse to do the proper checks so you can hire an illegal you are a criminal. You are a piece of a **** and worse than the people who do come here illegally. Why do you insist of on defending these scum?

Everything......to the few of us over-burdened US Employers that still reside in this country. Had you ever signed the front of a paycheck.....you might be able to see both sides of this issue.

Well any rational mind would agree they WOULD NOT come here if they did not have access to Housing/Food/Utilities/The Democrat Provided Social Teet.

....but lets blame it all on the few US employers who have yet to take part in the mass exodus from the Most Business Unfriendly Country in The World.

It is the law that illegals can be jailed for up to six months before being deported.

    Illegal Immigration IS A CRIME!
......"can be" is by no means a mandatory sentence. And considering the vast majority are never given a 6-month sentence......or any sentence for that matter.....what good is a Law if your not going to enforce it.....what good is a punishment if your never going to administer it?

Im not defending the "scum".......Im defending all the legal over-burdened US employers that are subject to the mountains of paperwork and miles of red tape mandated by an over reaching US government......in the name of stopping a handful of scumbag employers in this case.

The border doesnt begin at the front of our desks......and if the government, the border patrol, and ICE did its job........we wouldnt have to do it for them.

Employers piss test potential employees, run credit checks, check to see if that diploma a potential employee is real, check to see if the applicant is who they say they are and do a criminal back ground check on applicants and you are telling me that an employer would be over burdened if they look on a computer database to see if someone is here legally ?

Well any rational mind would agree they WOULD NOT come here if they did not have access to Housing/Food/Utilities/The Democrat Provided Social Teet.
You got to have money to have access those things.

....but lets blame it all on the few US employers who have yet to take part in the mass exodus from the Most Business Unfriendly Country in The World.
Most employers are not dishonest pieces of **** and therefore do not hire illegals.

You said "Well thats "not the LAW" now is it? " I proved to you that it is.

As for it no being enforced you should check out operation streamline.

The idea that an employer simply doing back doing the proper checks is over burdening them is a myth.

The border doesnt begin at the front of our desks......and if the government, the border patrol, and ICE did its job........we wouldnt have to do it for them.
And if traitors inside the US did not hire illegals then we would not have 12-20 million illegals in this country.

    NO.......

Other than Voidwar you seem to be the only other poster in the who history of DP to stick up for these scum and suggested that only illegals should be punished.

Walk a mile in an employer's shoes in THE MOST BUSINESS UNFRIENDLY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD and you would know the answer...........

......perhaps you see this "one more step", 10,000 steps later, as the solution to our Illegal Immigrant infestation.....it is not.....its just another burden for legal employers. You must realize.....a large portion of Illegals in this country work under the table and off the books.....a majority of them work in industries with such a high turnover rate, the in depth background checks you desire are never going to be the norm. Were talking about burger flippers, tomato pickers, and burrito wrappers........not Bank Executives, Police Officers, Management, ect. positions where it would make sense for an employer to spend the time and money needed to verify a potential employees identity and credentials.

The whole premis of your argument falls on the notion that "They wouldnt come here if they didnt have jobs"......and to that argument I say this.....

..........WE JUST HAD ONE OF THE LARGEST RECESSIONS IN US HISTORY.........with a loss of jobs never before seen in this country.......and guess what......10-20 million Illegal Immigrants didnt pack their bags and head home. As I said before, if you want to fine employers so be it......then fine the landlords, mortgage companies, the utility companies, and everyone else who aids the infestation.

We can all be Border Agents........and do the job the government just wont do.

We dont need to fine employers.....we dont need any additional LAWS and REGULATIONS.......we simply need the government, Border Patrol, and ICE to do its job for the first time in 40 years.

    From the news today.......

Man charged with 3 counts of murder in Va. attacks - Yahoo! News

Man charged with 3 counts of murder in Va. attacks

MANASSAS, Va. – A Salvadoran man who was ordered deported nearly a decade ago but never left has been charged with three counts of first-degree murder in a series of shootings and a knife attack in a Virginia suburb of Washington, authorities said Friday.
10 years after he was ordered deported........

..........if only we would have fined his employer huh?

As far as I am concerned when a US employer hires an illegal alien he, she or it immediately becomes a criminal.
