It wasn't directed at you personally - just regarding the discussion points in general.
I think if Thomas Jefferson were looking down, the author of the Bill of Rights, on whats being proposed here, hed agree with it. He would agree that the First Amendment cannot be absolute. - Chuck Schumer (D). Yet, Madison and Mason wrote the Bill of Rights, according to Sheila Jackson Lee, 400 years ago. Yup, it's a fact.

The American military and FBI are now so politically correct they are incapable of weeding out an officer who openly proclaims himself to be a jihadi. Nidal Hasan even openly delivered lectures to groups of other officers in which he contended that jihad was the way. And nothing happened.

Heads should roll. But nothing happens even now. Such societies do not have the will to continue existing.

The FBI even knew that Nidal Hasan was in direct contact with the terrorist Anwar al Awlaki. Breathtaking.

Reading the post by somebody who took the name of ALBERT DI SALVO and seeing that somebody who took the name of ED GEIN 'likes this' is a bit jarring.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old's life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.... John Rogers

A SOLDIER? If that's not gun control run amuck, then what is. DC and NYC have the strictest gun laws in the country, and the most shootings. Here's another example of what letting people carry could have prevented.
I really don't understand why soldiers can't carry their weapons on base. It's a stupid rule that shows that the military can be just as incompetent as politicians. I would think they should be required to carry their weapons with them.
