I think you're jumping to conclusions, because it fits your perspective of the world. Obviously, anytime a gay person is killed, it's hate crime and no other possibility.

The Ugandan police could tell you that crap tastes bad and you would have trouble believing them. Again, because you already have your mind made up about what went down here.

It's just like someone said on a local talk show a while back: "Never underestimate the power of the made up mind".

It's more like I have trouble believing a counties police force regarding a murder involving a LGBT person when that country wants to make homosexual activity punished by death.

Why is Kato's roomy a fugitive, then? Did he swoon Kato, just to get close enough to kill him?

I just said we can't pinpoint a definitive motive... I am making a rational deduction based on facts. I believe you are the one jumping to conclusions because it fits your perspective of the world. Did I ever say the word hate crime? Of course he was hated for his sexual orientation, and that's evident in the newspaper publication. I have stated we don't know why he was killed or who really did it. What we do know is that he was beaten to death, that he was publicly proclaimed as a homosexual and his hanging was called for by the newspaper. And regardless, it's evident that he was persecuted simply knowing about the newspapers publication calling for his death.

I have trouble believing that whole story, and while it could have nothing to do with him being a LGBT rights activist, I don't think I will ever believe the Ugandan police. That's just the way it is.

I'm sure homophobes around the World are giving one another a pat on the back. This is what can happen as a quite direct result of irresponsible vitriol. David Kato was a very brave man.
Way to go you, and Catz. Tie what is a different culture and place, Uganda to "irresponsible vitriol". That's using the dead to promote your politics!
Climate, changes. It takes a particularly uneducated population to buy into the idea that it's their fault climate is changing and further political solutions can fix it.

    Well, yeah, you did.

    **** evidence, though. Right?

I hope you're not one the chirpers that always harps on people proving things.

Nice way to spin my statement, and ignore the fact that the Ugandan police isn't a very reliable source when it comes to treating LGBT equally.
