Silly position. There are state secrets. There need to be state secrets. Get over it. Swear to God, sorry you didn't get the D-Day memo.

2 months after the leak, and there are still almost a quarter of a million documents yet to be released. Let them be released, and let the chips fall where they may. The American people, for the first time in decades, may have the opportunity to see just how far the rot is ingrained in the apple. And I believe that this is what is scaring the bejesus out of those who claim to be our leaders.

Let it leak, and let those would be rulers of the people face the consequences of their actions. It's already hit the fan, and I believe that we have not even seen the tip of the iceberg yet. Well, it's time to see the whole damn thing, for the sake of our nation, and "We the People".

Once again - MY DAMN COUNTRY!

This has been another thread in the DanaRhea rant series. Thanx for listening.
    Agreed. And you're welcome. ;-)
The devil whispered in my ear, "You cannot withstand the storm." I whispered back, "I am the storm."

Supposedly hundreds of thousands, in and outside of the government.

You think information that widespread isn't going to leak?

Oh really? Ok, where am I going?
I have a feeling you might be inclined to implicate Obama administration officials

It never did before. What's different about this leak?

I seem to remember you said it somewhere before. But you kept hinting at "Higher up" and with you it was the natural thing to think

And, of course you're going to automatically make the asssumption that I'm talking about Obama. Libbos can't resist making everything about Obama.

Ones a leak... And the others a leak....

The irony of this statement is astounding.

Says the person who blamed Obama for the way flags were set up...

(even though it's in line with the flag code.)

One leak is far more complex than the other. I'll restate mey point, Assange got his hands on way more information than a simple Army private has access to.

You know how whiney this is? Really, do ya?

Look dude, this is America. We have the right to criticize and question our government. In fact, it's our patriotic duty to do so. Questioning my government isn't exclusively mutual with criticizing Obama. Mostly, it's nothing personal, so stop acting so offended.

I don't doubt it. But fundamentally, hundreds of thousands of people have access to top secret information, thousands to diplomatic cables and documents. Are you really niave enough to think that with all this access available, that things weren't gonna slip.

Am I doubting someone quite high up could have leaked some stuff? Nope. But it sounds like you wanna make a conspiracy out of this.

Did I say you didn't have that right?

And did I say I was offended?

What you do sometimes isn't critisizing government. It's petty partisanship aimed at causing a ruckus.

Patriotic eh? Guess not patriotic enough to know your own flag code...

    Relax buddy just playin...

That's funny. When Bush was in power, I was called anti-American for critisizing the government, but now that Obama is in power, critisizing the government seems to be the American thing to do. Well, at least I am consistent.

You were never called un-American by me, brother. That should help you sleep easier.
