It is obvious he was very angry and he did have political beliefs.. We don't know if they were a part of his motivation or not yet. His main target was a political figure.
A political figure he has been obsessed with since 2007. Left leaning ideologies that he has continued to display with NO connection to those the sherriff came out and accused of complicity. And its not a LITTLE BIT funny that you are DEFENDING the actions of the sherriff while in this post claiming "we dont even know his motivations."

On October 13, 2008 he was charged after defacing a street sign in Marana, near Tucson. That charge was also dismissed following the completion of a diversion program in March 2009
Didn't Sheriff Dupster admitted prior knowledge of Loughner? Why are you defending a sheriff who came out from the very start as a political hack instead of a law enforcement officer. His attack on the right can't be justified. Are you trying to justify Dupster's attack on conservatives?

Even AFTER the truth was known he held to his rhetoric. makes me believe more the 'liar' part.
I am not saying he didn't make a mistake and shouldn't have done it. I am saying his emotions got the best of him and I doubt if he did it for political gain. He is an old guy and his carreer is just about over anyway.

The case is not closed. We don't know the truth yet. We know nothing about motive.

    Nice find.

Did she blame Democrats and Obama and the tone of their politics for being responsible for the beheadings?

maybe the people enjoy the so called vitriol.
Oh look - he threw himself under the bus.

I guess his effort to distract his constituents from pointing fingers at himself and his own personal failures concerning this situation did him in. . . The people of Tuscon are not stupid.

Here's the video that finally got him kicked out of school. He was told he wasn't allowed back until he had a full mental evaluation and was found to not be a danger to himself or others. One of his teachers was so afraid of him, he didn't like to turn his back to him to write on the board. Another student sat by the door so she could be the first one out if he went off.

A man with many years under his belt... let emtions get the btter of him so he lashes out at his political enemies? I'm not buying.

He is an old guy and his carreer is just about over anyway.
Could this be why he thought he could mouth off? We'll never know, but it's plausible. If he still had many years left, I wonder, would he have put his career on the line, using a hideous massacre to throw an atomic, political Molotov Cocktail for his political brethren?

Dupnik forgot that he is the sheriff and instead he spoke like a left wing politician and he can't do that because now the defense for the killer can use his statments for the killers defense.
