LOL, yeah, they're certainly not biased. I'm sure those numbers are right when you only poll unemployed people from New York City.

Across the land, about 70+ percent are against it.

Go ahead, Democrats, run on this 2012. I dare ya. (A bunch of Dem will turncoat on this to save their butts. Watch.)

I wasn't saying that they would. I was asking a question, that's why I put the, "?", at the end of the sentence.

Oh, sorry. Didn't see the "?" and it didn't make sense in the statement. I don't think the Republicans gaining so many seats was about the health care bill. I think it was about the economy in general.

Yup... you are correct. Didn't notice the "?" mark. My fault.

I don't think it was just about healthcare, but it damn sure didn't help the Dems's cause.

I'm seeing this song-n-dance from Leftists, claiming that the reason the Dems were voted out, is because the Dems weren't Liberal enough. Sorry, but I ain't buyin' it.

I'm not too sure about that claim. Can you point us to the polling or study that you are citing? One of the oddities in this debate is that going back a year ago most people were for health care reform. Not a nationalized health care system. Reform! This bill does not appear to do much in the way of reform, so I am wondering if that is what you are talking about? The bill does not do much for reform so it could be argued that is what "many" people were talking about? Either way without some sort of source to look at, that supports your claim, it is just speculation on both our parts.

I knew that joke was going to get made when I posted that comment. I think it depends on where the national mood is at when it comes across his desk. Becuase you know, he might want to get re-elected.

Those matters can still be addressed down the line. It is not as if this bill is the end all be all on the whole matter of health care reform and matters like those won't get addressed ever. I see a lot people acting as if that is the case, not saying you are, just that I see a lot of that going on.

I think Republicans need to do what Democrats do, i.e., criminalize policy differences. This creates a deterrent effect and chills the behavior of bureaucrats. For example, make it a felony to use any federal funds or revenue to achieve the individual mandate for Obamacare. Hard ball.

we could have an interesting conversation on what pacifies nannystate peabrains

What happens in the courts might have a major impact on the viability of socialist health care in 2012
