In case I missed it, perhaps you can point out where COngress has the power to force me to purchase a product, so that I can fund an entitlement program for that same product to be provided to others.

can you actually prove that claim? it seems that your most socialist members on this board think that everyone ought to have coverage even if they refuse or cannot pay for it. Now how does your solution deal with that?

Actually, I disagree with you, but not about the income redistribution part. General welfare of the US can certainly be interpretted towards assisting in the health of the populace.

    getting a bit testy there.

edify me as to your education concerning constitutional scholarship

having actually lectured on the subject-your citation demonstrates a profound lack of understanding of the subject

I've posted my solution to health care problems several times at DP. It does address this point pretty clearly. Cannot pay is not an issue, under my plan. Refuse to pay is not the federal government's problem under my plan.

doesn't mean its right. and no that was not the intent of that part of the USSC or even contemplated by those who wrote it

I guess you haven't been around long enough to understand that I take the tenth amendment rather seriously.
Did I say government solution? If you have free market solution, please explain. Or maybe you just think people with prexisting conditions should just fend for themselves?
