Not really. Most of them either ignored it, shunned it, or meekly defended it. The most recent opinion polls show that support and opposition to the health care reform law are about evenly split, with the opposition maybe SLIGHTLY ahead. It's certainly not massively unpopular, and many who oppose it wanted it to go farther.

Umm. OK. Not sure where you got such a weird idea, but to each his own.

It seems like you're more interested in party politics than improving the country.

Let me ask you, what is your solution for the problem of children with prexisting conditions not being able to get insurance and people who are diagnosed with cancer getting dropped from their insurance plans? Let them die?

Yeah. It means that she's up for reelection in a conservative state in two years, and that she knows she'll never have to make good on that promise.

I don't know, you'd have to ask them. Many of them have all the time in the world to answer such questions now that they're out of work.

more government control of anything doesn't improve the country

covering pre-existing conditions screws the entire concept of insurance

wtf would i buy insurance if I can wait til the doctor tells me I need a kidney transplant or brain surgery?

I'm seeing this song-n-dance from Leftists, claiming that the reason the Dems were voted out, is because the Dems weren't Liberal enough. Sorry, but I ain't buyin' it.
Well, I don't agree with that either... meaning I agree with you. The Dems lost seats because of the economy. Doesn't actually matter whether it was their fault or not, but I would say that's a pretty universal response from the country. If the economy sucks, the party in power loses votes.
