Feds threaten to sue states over union laws

the right to collective bargaining in the 4 states under legal assault is not in question

the suit focuses only on their fidelity to private voting

mr h***. whom we just reelected via secret ballot to leadership of our local, will be quite gratified to hear of your approval

i'll tell him this morning, he teaches in the classroom next door (a heck of a teacher, i might add)

Wrong. They may sign under pressure from labor leaders under threat of harassment, but may truly not support it. Only in a secret ballot could such a worker vote his/her conscience without others knowing about it and subsequently be pressured based on the vote cast...
