NJ Politician Proposes License Plates For Bicycles

There is already a thread about this. The proposal was withdrawn.

"Well, it was a downhill stretch, so probably just above the speed limit"
"Exactly, you were speeding, now if you'll please hand over your license and registration"
"Registration? I'm in a lycra suit, where exactly am I meant to put it?"
"Ok, well if you'll just remain on your bicycle, I'll go check this out"

But I do like the comments on the website, that bicyclists should pay tax to pay for the road upkeep, as though a bike somehow damages the surface.
